Wi2Wi Mobile Embedded Hotspot introduced

[CES 2010] Wi2Wi announced their latest Mobile Embedded Hotspot technology that introduces the capabilty of turning any business and consumer electronic device armed with an World Wide Web connection into an impromptu, pocket-sized wireless hotspot which can support up to 8 users simultaneously. that would translate the slew of MIDs, smartphones, digital cameras, portable media players and GPS navigation systems to double up as Wi-Fi access points, relying on fixed broadband or 3G connectivity to hook up to the World Wide Web. that is made possible by transforming such portable devices into micro Wi-Fi Access Points, paving

the way for robust real-time streaming of audio/video composition via Wi-Fi. Great to know it is additionally backwards compatible with earlier generation of Wi-Fi enabled products. Currently, MEH technology can be found in three of their products - the W2SW0001, W2CBW003 and W2CBWG01.
