ViewSonic VNB102 ViewBook, ViewSonic’s first Netbook

ViewSonic is entering the crowded Netbook market with the VNB102, a ViewBook that resemble offerings from other grades. The specifications are standard: Atom 1.6Ghz, 160GB hdd, 10″ 1024×600 display, Win7 Starter, 2.4lbs. There’s nothing out of the ordinary about it. The VNB1002 will be priced at $399 (MSRP), but note that similarly configured Netbooks can be bought at street prices starting from $320
(source: newegg). What do you think? Is that too little, too late? In your opinion, should ViewSonic enter that market differently?Permalink: ViewSonic VNB102 ViewBook, ViewSonic's first Netbook from Ubergizmo | Hot: Nokia Booklet 3G Review
