With Apple’s iPad getting all the headlines recently, it seems that the folks by at Toshiba don’t want to be left out of the tablet party, and Jeff Barney, head of Toshiba’s U.S. notebook business, has said that the company is planning to introduce a line of consumer slates (tablet computers) in late 2010 or early 2011.
