JVC Begins To Ship Its GZ-HM550BUS Bluetooth Enabled Camcorder

JVC has started to ship its recently announced Everio GZ-HM550BUS camcorder today. The GZ-HM550BUS is JVC’s first camcorder to sport Bluetooth connectivity. In case you’re wondering what you can do with Bluetooth on a camcorder, you’re able to connect to the camcorder with a Bluetooth enabled smartphone to record and zoom like using a remote control, as well as hook up a pair of A2DP headphones for wireless audio, and plus geotag your videos via a Bluetooth GPS receiver. Even whether you are a die-hard Windows fan, chances are pretty good that once you have had a go at the two-finger scrolls and three-finger gestures on a MacBook, the vanilla Windows trackpad does seem pretty much like a dead fish. Well, here's an interesting hack that could give your Windows notebook similar scrolling and gestures, although we say why go through all that trouble when you can just get an actual MacBook yourself? that mod won't offer pinch-to-zoom or rotation capability, but nearly everything else will be made accessible including two-finger scrolling, gestures and three fingers compatiblity among others.

Guitar fans out there who are embracing the digital revolution will certainly be glad to construct out that Zoom has introduced the G2Nu and the G2.1Nu guitar effects pedals, both that feature 100 preset guitar sounds, 20 of which have been approved by Steve Vai himself. The main difference amidst the two pedals would be the inclusion of a built-in expression pedal on the G2.1Nu. There’s plus a 1.9-inch display to help keep you in touch with the pedal, but more importantly, both units sport integrated USB ports, allowing you to record directly to your computer via these pedals. Coby Introduces New Snapp Camcorders

Coby has updated its line up to include three yet-to-be-released models, the Coby Snapp CAM4505, CAM3001 and the CAM5001. The good news is that they certainly shouldn’t break the bank, with the most expensive CAM5001 going for $78.99. Said model will sport a 2-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, 4X digital zoom, 128MB of memory (expandable up to 16GB), built-in HDMI connection, and video resolution up to 720p. You’ll plus be able to pick up the CAM3001 for $29.99 and the CAM4505 for $48.99, though they offer smaller screens, smaller built-in memory and no HD playback. They’re currently available at Amazon in case you decide to pick one up.

From afar, chances are you will be fooled into thinking that that thermos is actually a real Canon 70-200mm L-series lens, where the Japanese company was giving it out for free at the Olympic Press Center. None of them are on eBay at point of publishing, although we're not too certain whether it will remain that way for expanded. Granted, that is one of the cooler thermos designs to period, catering to geeks and shutterbugs alike who love to have a hot cup of joe at hand all the moment.

Qualcomm MSM7x30 Smartphone Platform Demo On Video

You’ve probably already heard about Qualcomm’s MSM7x30 smartphone platform which was announced before, and now videos of it powering some demo devices have surfaced, and they certainly look impressive. Sporting the same guts as the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, that system-on-chip offers HDMI output and 720p video playback on the device, or an external HDTV. Check out the video below, and note the cool picture browser, which shows about 1,000 pictures at the same day, allowing you to zoom into each individual one effortlessly. whether the videos are anything to go by, we certainly are looking forward to that platform making into smartphones in the near future. Casio's Exilim line of digital cameras have been pretty serious to moment, but that day round they threw in a dose of humor with the Rilakkuma edition - basically, you get the image of an adorable teddy bear splashed across the front of the camera in the guise of the Exilim EX-Z330. Features of that 12.1-megapixel shooter include a 3x optical zoom, face detection, Eye-Fi connectivity, HD recording, an SDHC/SD memory card slot and a 2.7" LCD display, not to mention the ability to pull in stares at its design as though you were walking around in the buff. It is available in Japan for $290 after conversion, where that price includes a pouch for you to tote it in style.
