USB Mass Storage Device Support on Xbox 360 coming soon

At towering last, it looks as though USB Mass Storage Device Support for the Xbox 360 will be a reality according to a document that was authored by a senior software development engineer at Microsoft. that document mentioned that due to "increased market penetration of high-capacity, high throughput USB mass storage devices, a 2010 Xbox 360 system update" is imminent, enabling consumers to save and load game details from USB devices in a jiffy. While it’s impossible to confirm the legitimacy of that picture at the moment, apparently that is a leaked picture of an upcoming model of the Xbox 360, possibly the Xbox 360 Slim (or whatever Microsoft plans to shout it). that could additionally be the first duration that the console combines both the CPU and GPU onto a restricted chip, not to mention the aftereffect is that the motherboard is nice and small. checking of that console, according to the rumor, has already been completed in China. This certainly isn’t the first project to convert an Xbox 360 into a laptop form factor, but it’s certainly one of the prettier mods. Despite the loud 8 fans whirring, you have to confess that it looks rather good, and considering that it packs in an LCD screen, integrated Wi-Fi, camera, optical drive and full keyboard, it’s probably something you’d want to bring with you on a weekend trip. That being said, perhaps they overran their budget while creating that mod, as it’s currently up for sale on eBay for $1,950 (at day of writing). Have you done anything cool to your Xbox before? According to latest reports, it seems that Novell has demonstrated a new way to turn Xbox 360 games into iPhone apps, and there is a chance that Google’s Android will be able to join in on the action too. With Windows Phone 7 Series due later that year, one of the mean features will certainly be its ability to offer Xbox 360 games, but what would happen to it whether the iPhone could plus offer Xbox 360 games, and possibly sooner too. Windows Phone 7 will feature Xbox integration, but apart from that, Microsoft didn't let any other cats out of the proverbial bag. Well, that could change soon with more clues unearthed about the future of mobile gaming on Microsoft's new mobile platform. The introduction of XNA Game Studio 4.0 will go some ways in making game development for the Windows Phone 7 platform a whole lot easier, since developers can create a game/app and produce tweak it to run the Xbox 360 and Windows-based PCs as well. Microsoft has confirmed that it will be equipped with hardware accelerated 3D APIs specific for Windows Phone 7. Kudos to Microsoft for letting their hair down with that - the ball is in the developer's court to come up with something good now!
