HTC Incredible to retail for $199.99 from CostCo?

This is just a rumor, but it could hold water. It seems that there is a whole lot of web traffic concerning the HTC Incredible (check out its specifications here), and someone spotted CostCo’s stock system only to find that the company could be selling the HTC Incredible for $199.99 – surely at that price point, it would come with a contract. There is one hitch to that though – the stock system lists the Incredible’s vendor as T-Mobile, so we will just take that whole thing with a pinch of salt since it is supposedly to be made available via Verizon.

iPhone dev agreement placeholder, Google grabs most iPhone web traffic, AT&T promises better iPhone service

Eagle eyed developers have noticed that the iPhone developers agreement has been changed with a placeholder referencing the event today. We only have a while to wait before we find out what Apple has up its sleeves.

A report has surfaced that shows the majority of the web traffic generated by the iPhone goes to Google. Non-search traffic is 48.05% and Yahoo grabs 1.24%. I wonder whether a change to Bing by Apple would greatly affect these numbers.

AT&T has promised to improve the service for iPhone users in America. It had better, the announcement of a Verizon iPhone is widely expected for today.

AT&T is getting beat up in the media by Verizon by its 3G coverage, which I will confess is shoddy in most areas. Apple has now come out with some adds that are taking up for AT&T. I wonder whether those adds will keep running whether Verizon gets the iPhone.

A study by AdMob has concluded that the majority of global smartphone web traffic comes from the iPhone. The study plus shows that rivals to the iPhone like Palm and Symbian are losing ground.

A new DJ app for the iPhone has debuted called TouchDJ. The app works with the iPhone and the iPod touch and the app fools the iPhone into playing two tracks at the same moment allowing for mixing and such. The app is available now for $19.99.
