Ever wanted to take a crack at growing some plants for your home, but couldn’t find the instance to do it? With the Click & Grow system, it seems that you’ll be hard pressed to find an excuse for not churning out the pretty plants that the missus has been asking for. Instead of having to tend to the plant everyday like a baby, you can pretty much allow its computerized system to do all the dirty work. It doesn’t require soil, as it relies on aeroponics, a growing system that grows the plans in an air or mist environment. To produce things easier, all you need to do is pop in a plant cartridge that contains the seeds of the desired plant, which should plus contain some basic fertilizer and info about the seed type, add water into the water tank, and you’re good to go. The basic model sports notification lights to indicate when the tank needs refilling, but the higher-end model can even gather water from the air, further lightening your burden. The entry-level visit & Grow pots start from 17 Euros ($23), while the seed cartridges will cost among 2.5-4 Euros ($3-5). The company is planning to launch the product in choose markets in a few months, and when that happens, do you think you’ll be getting one?

Horizon Fuel Cell technologies will be lifting the curtains on its Hydrofill hydrogen refueling and and storage solution at the upcoming CES, making it the first personal hydrogen station in the world. that extremely small desktop device will plug into your AC, solar panel or a sufficiently small wind turbine in order to extract hydrogen from its water tank, only to store it in a solid profile in small refillable cartridges for future use. that could potentially remove dependence on large-scale fueling infrastructure investments, where all the energy-gathering action happens right in the comfort of your own home. Even better is its environmental-friendly theme, and it won’t blow up like those fuel cells in Terminator Salvation.
