We have already heard that some hackers have been able to get Android to run on the iPhone 3G. A new video has surfaced that shows Android on the iPhone.

I mentioned that the documents pertaining to the reason the warrant to search the Gizmodo editor’s home by the iPhone 4G prototype was being secreted away by the judge in the case. The judge has now denied a request to turn the search warrant documents by to media outlets.

Many have been expecting the iPhone to land on Verizon that year. One analyst has now decided that the iPhone will stay locked to AT&T considering he figures the cheap goods plans for the iPad 3G would have come with an extension on iPhone exclusivity.

AT&T customers will be pleased to know that the Palm Pre Plus and 3G MicroCell will be made available to subscribers from May 16th onwards. Unfortunately, there is no word of a free 3G mobile hotspot capability similar to that offered by Verizon, but on the other hand you can gain free access to AT&T’s 20k-strong network of fixed hotspots. We’re still waiting with bated breath for a price point at moment of publishing – how much would be the figure which you will be comfortable with? For folks who are not certain what 3G MicroCell is all about, it is a device that functions like a mini cellular tower in your vicinity, hooking up to AT&T’s network via your existing broadband Web service and can support up to four different users simultaneously.

It seems that AT&T’s Palm Pre Plus is touted to be faster than the one offered by Verizon, and before all you AT&T fans go out and celebrate, bear in mind that many factors could contribute to that obvious speed increase – it runs on webOS 1.4.2 and does not come preloaded with much details to start with. Initial impressions of the device have additionally pointed to a very responsive QWERTY keyboard alongside better build quality, but we’ll let the consumers decide when the device ships later in the middle of that month.

This is still far (very far) from anything official, but an analyst suspects that the reason AT&T is offering cheap connectivity deals for Apple’s iPad is that AT&T did so in exchange for an extension on its exclusivity on Apple’s popular iPhone. We were plus reminded that the iPad’s goods plans are on a prepaid basis, so there is no contract to tie you to AT&T, which is something that AT&T has never done with the iPhone. According to the analyst, we wouldn’t see a Verizon iPhone until the first quarter of 2011, which is still more than half a year away. Do you think that AT&T and Apple brokered such a deal, or are folks just speculating too much by the lack of a Verizon iPhone?

We gave you an early peek at the upcoming Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two phones, and we told you that they were coming on Verizon’s network that month. Well, the instance has come and we have the details about the launch, the specifications and most importantly, the pricing.

Both Kin phones will launch in Verizon’s stores on May 13th for a price of $49.99 and $99.99, after a mail-in rebate and only when purchased with a 2-year contract. Verizon says that “Customers will receive the rebate in the design of a debit card; upon receipt, customers may use the card as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted ” (Verizon).

The details plan data is even more critical: with $39.99 for the voice, and $29.99 for the info, that’s a minimum of $70 that will be charged monthly, which is precisely what smartphone users pay… except that Microsoft Kin does not supply a smartphone experience. So, by two years, we are talking about a $1680 + phone + taxes + fees cost. Honestly, I was expecting the starting price to be lower.

Folks who have got hold of Verizon’s Droid Incredible might have noticed a system update that has been pushed out to the device. While there wasn’t much data provided on the update itself, after some digging it seems that the update tackles a bug in the Microsoft Exchange support. Previously some users might have noticed that the cc field in their e mail would contain unintended e mail addresses, and with that update, hopefully it’ll go away. whether you’re scratching your head wondering why you didn’t receive any immediate on your mobile phone, it’s worth noting that that only affects corporate users.

According to an internal Verizon e mail, both devices will be going up for pre-order on May 6th, and will be launched on all channels on May 13th. As with all the leaks that go around, there isn’t any way to confirm it, but considering that May 6th is just around the corner, we should be able to know whether that turns out to be true in just a few days. Stay tuned!
