T-Mobile To Partner With Clearwire For WiMAX?
March 19, 2010

T-Mobile isn’t enjoying the duration of its life at the moment, since it’s currently facing an uphill battle against Verizon Wireless and AT&T. In order to keep up, the carrier certainly needs to look into getting some high speed notes on its network. With that in mind, reports indicate that the carrier is mulling the possibility of a joint venture with Clearwire for its WiMAX infrastructure. It’s certainly interesting to note that Sprint happens to control more than 50 percent of Clearwire, but it doesn’t seem that T-Mobile is considering a merger with Sprint. Do you think a WiMAX network would help improve your perception of T-Mobile?

The Motorola Droid Update On Thursday Was For Testers Only
March 19, 2010

If you’re wondering how Thursday came and went without you getting the highly anticipated Motorola Droid Android 2.1 update, we’ve got a tidbit of news for you. According to Tom Pica, a Verizon spokesperson, the update wasn’t delayed, as was previously reported, but the Android 2.1 update was deployed to a small number of Verizon analysis users (as scheduled). It’s good to know that Verizon apparently sent out the Android 2.1 updates, since that means it’s (almost) ready, though the downer is that most users out there probably didn’t get any update whether they weren’t part of the tryout users. Hopefully Verizon will be able to get that sorted out soon, and serve the Android 2.1 update to Motorola Droid users already.

March 19, 2010

Just to refresh your memory, the Milestone sports a 3.7" capacitive touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and a gamut of wireless options such as HSDPA/HSUPA, Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0. Verizon Push-To-Talk application for BlackBerry smartphones
March 19, 2010

Verizon has made good on its word to introduce the Push-To-Talk application for BlackBerry smartphones, where that free to download application can be maintained via a $5 monthly fee. With Verizon’s BlackBerry PTT app, one will be able to produce unlimited nationwide calls to other PTT devices, with key features being its ability to form group calls with up to 50 participants (great to have a mass relative meeting), Presence to check out who is available for PTT calls, easy management of Push to Talk contacts, and even the ability to access mail and surf the Web when you're on a Push to Talk signal. Anyone given it a go yet, and how do you find it?

Android 2.1 Update For Motorola Droid Delayed
March 18, 2010
If you were excited by the announcement of the Android 2.1 update for the Motorola Droid, you’ll probably want to hold on to that feeling, as there is a spot of poor news. Word is out that the update has been delayed, and to construct things worse, there isn’t any release moment mentioned in the leaked internal company documentation. whether you were periodically checking Verizon’s website to see whether the update was released on instance, you’ll now know why the update isn’t on Verizon’s site yet. Hopefully Verizon won’t sit on that issue for too faraway. After all, we all want a bit more of that Android 2.1 goodness, right?

Verizon Wireless To Offer The HTC Incredible In Two Weeks?
March 18, 2010

Word is going around that Verizon could be offering the HTC Incredible in about two week’s moment. Thanks to pictures leaked a week ago, we already know that the phone was destined for Verizon, but it does seem a tad out of the blue, not that we’re complaining, after all, getting the phone early is better than getting it later, right? Considering that Verizon doesn’t offer Google’s Nexus One just yet, the HTC Incredible would offer a good alternative for the moment, considering that it sports similar specifications, as well as a higher megapixel camera. Do you think that you’ll go for the HTC Incredible, or are you willing to wait for the Nexus One to be offered by Verizon? Unconfirmed specifications of the HTC Incredible include:
