MSI Shows Off MS-9A31 VoIP Phone At CeBIT

The VoIP phone scene is getting more and more crowded, but MSI does seem to have a rather interesting VoIP phone on display at CeBIT, particularly with its large touchscreen display. The MS-9A31 will support DECT, video conference calls, and instant messaging, all thanks to the Android platform. Physically, the phone offers 2 LAN ports, a USB port and additionally a card reader, which probably indicates that you’ll be able to pump some media files into that handy device. Asus OPlay Air HD2 Unveiled At CeBIT 2010

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting Apple’s iPad, you might be a little disappointed with all the rumors going around that Apple will not be able to meet the demand, and supply is short etc. That being said, Asus has come up with an updated version of the O! Play HD2, which will feature a built-in HDMI port, USB port, eSata port, not to mention 3 slots for memory cards. Specifications are scarce at the moment, considering that is able to play networked media, as well as Full HD 1080p video playback, it’ll certainly be popular amongst TV junkies. It supports displays with resolutions up to 1920x1080, so that’s not too shabby. There isn’t any mention of a price at the moment, though.

Ubuntu 10.04 plays nice with iPhone and iPod touch

Folks who own either an iPhone or iPod touch (or both) and are interested to delve into the world of Ubuntu sometime down the road will be pleased to know that either device can be plugged into the USB port of a computer, and be detected regardless of whether the suits at Apple like it or not. With that in mind, we can't wait to see whether the moon will turn blue first, or will there be a Linux version of iTunes. Chances are give it just a few more days or weeks and Apple will do something about that situation - mainly severing the ties that bind.
