Who knows how many billion types of USB hubs there are in the market, but you have to confess that that Chicken Burger USB Hub does stand out a little different from the rest, obviously due to its resemblance to a tasty chicken burger. It’s a 4-port USB 2.0 hub made of polyresin, and from the looks of it, offers a removable bun. It’ll set you back $19, but that’s the price of having a different USB hub from everybody else, right?

The Kingmax PD-02 USB flash drive sports a simple streamlined design and won’t hurt your pocket too much in terms of pricing, since Kingmax wants to form it accessible to a whole lot of public across a wide spectrum. It comes with a slide-out USB connector, ensuring you won’t need to run the risk of losing the cap any more, while an anti-scratch body makes it all the more durable to tote around. Too poor that has not moved on to USB 3.0 connectivity, so you’re stuck with USB 2.0 in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities.

Hmmm, to see the words “USB” and “SSD” certainly seems strange, what more when they are merged together to anatomy what looks like a USB flash drive. Going by the nigh unpronounceable moniker, the Buffalo SHD-LVS-BK USB SSD, it will be powered via a USB 2.0 connection, holding 64GB of info while measuring a diminutive 23mm x 10mm x 98 mm. Nice to know that Buffalo has thrown in a physical switch that helps prevent unwanted or accidental deletion of old files as well as stopping new files from being written onto the drive. You will additionally find TurboPC and TurboCopy functions that are supposed to boost transfer rates, but the jury is still out there on the verdict. Depending on your bank detail, you can choose from 3GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities which will retail for $28, $45, $77, $135 and $260, respectively.

PQI has unveiled what it touts to be the first USB 3.0 2.5″ portable hard drive in the world, known as the H566. that model is capable of hitting a theoretical bandwidth of 5Gbps/sec, which is roughly 10x that of what USB 2.0 offers, although real life performance won’t be able to get anywhere near that figure for obvious reasons such as bottlenecks. It will come in a new metallic silver case, where you can choose from 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities. Each purchase will come with its own protection software for better peace of mind where your info is concerned.

A keyboard is a keyboard, right? Matias does not think so with their new USB 2.0 keyboard offering which sports a smartphone stand. Yes, that’s right – you get to spruce up that all white keyboard with the presence of your docked iPhone, although in the lengthy run it could prove to be more of a distraction than anything else since you will keep on replying text messages and emails that come in instead of working on that spreadsheet as commanded by the higher up powers. that peripheral comes with a couple of USB 2.0 ports behind, printed Mac symbols on the keys and a numeric keypad. Now available for Mac for $50, it will reach on the Windows platform in the near future, too – we’re assuming the keyboard layout will be changed slightly next to accommodate Windows users.
