Creative has a couple of wireless speaker systems that will be arriving across the Atlantic, namely the D200 and D100. The former has a similar “sonic soul” as Creative’s flagship ZiiSound D5, although it won’t hurt your pockets too much, despite being capable of pumping out 9 watts RMS by each channel. As for the entry level Creative D100, that model will come in black, pink, green and blue colors, and can be powered by a quartet of AA batteries or remain connected to the mains, delivering 2 watts RMS by each channel. Out that July, the D200 and D100 will retail for £89.99 and £59.99, respectively.

Despite Palm being beset by a whole bunch of bad news, at least there are some positive developments coming from the company, as it has just introduced its Ares development tool, allowing developers to create applications within a browser. Since Palm is hosting the development environment in the cloud, it should be a lot easier to access it. whether that helps spur app development in Palm’s App Catalog, it’s certainly a good move, as Apple has shown that a well populated App Store is a great asset. whether you’re part of Palm’s developer program, you’ll be able to access it for free. From the looks of it, it’s pretty cool.

Now it seems that Amazon.de has put the netbooks up for pre-order as well. Both computers are powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom CPU and offer 1GB of RAM. Is it instance for you to get a new netbook?

Instead of having to wear it around your wrist, the Straphand belongs on your hand, and offers the usual functions of a SportBand. The main difference with the Straphand is that it offers a USB connection via a docking station, allowing users to compare their performance with that of other athletes around the world, perfect for those who are very competitive.
