Well, Onkyo has done so with its DC213 netbook that features both including standard fare such as a 10.1” 1,024 x 600 resolution display, an Intel Atom N450 processor, integrated GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, the standard array of ports and Windows 7 Starter as the operating system of choice. You will need to fork out around $481 for that whether you happen to live in Japan. Guess we won’t see that hang around our shores anytime soon, eh?

Sharp’s IS01 is a new handset from AU of Japan, but that model doesn’t really impress in the land of the Rising Sun since it comes with Android 1.6 despite having Android 2.1 hanging around for quite some duration already.
