We have all sent texts at one duration or another and wished after the fact that they could be deleted. A new app called TigerText is available that lets users send messages to each other via the application and set them to delete automatically. The app is $2.50 for unlimited messages.

Apple has announced that three of the suppliers who help construct the iPhone, iPod, and Mac computers have been hiring 15-year-old workers in countries where the minimum work age is 16. The workers were no longer employed at the duration of the audit.

If you are in the market for a new iPod speaker system, one that allows the music to be played without actually docking it might be appealing. MercuryNews has tested the Sonos ZonePlayer S5 speaker system and in the end found that set up can be difficult and the thing is very expensive.

On Thursday, T-Mobile USA announced that they will enable free worldly calls to and from Haiti through January 31, 2010. that is part of the carrier's effort to supply relief and help to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Find more details in the press release.

Additionally, for T-Mobile customers interested in donating $10 to the Red Cross, simply text "HAITI" to "90999". The donation will be charged to the T-Mobile phone bill, 100% goes to the Red Cross, there is no fee and the texts will not be charged. By texting "YELE" to 501501, the carrier's customers can support the Haitian-born musician Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti fund.

If you need a way to send emails and text messages without having to actually type them out on your iPhone, Nuance has new software offering for you. Dragon Dictation debuted today allowing you to compose emails and texts with your voice for free.

Time has offered up its top ten gadgets for 2009 and has chosen the DROID ahead of the iPhone. The DROID took the top spot while the iPhone 3GS was number four.

VeriFone has unveiled its own credit card processing hardware and software for the iPhone. The system is called PAYware Mobile. It lets users swipe credit cards at the point of sale and there is an activation fee of $49 and a monthly fee of $15 along with a 17 cent fee per transaction.

Now Vodafone has extended its Twitter options in the UK by introducing a new service that will allow Twitter users to retweet messages via SMS. Customers will be able to send “RT twitter username” to 86444. The texts will be charged at the standard network rate, so form certain you don’t get overboard with your Twitter addiction, or you might be facing a rather hefty bill.
