Turns out that everybody wants to emulate Apple with its App Store success and next up HP has announced the launch of its HP Download Store which aims to produce things easier for netbook users without a CD-ROM drive, though it’ll work fine for your incredibly-specced gaming desktop as well. The store offers a place for users to buy software online, and while it might be a tad more expensive that other places, the apps are re-downloadable for up to two years, which makes it seem like a better deal. There is currently a promotional cipher on the site offering you a $20 reduction until the end of May.

While not all of us want to plant radishes, there’s nothing wrong with brightening up your garden a little bit every now and thereupon. that solar powered lawn lamp is able to hold your plant, and plus gather solar capability during the day, in order to glow red at night. Considering it’s already creepy at night, whether you’re scared of the dark, having an eerie red light glowing at night might seem a tad unnerving. Of course, whether you think it looks like you’re growing giant glowing radishes, thereupon you’ll love it. What will they think of next, eh?

The rumors surrounding Palm seem to be increasing daily, and now word is going around that the troubled company is considering licensing some of its patents as a means to boost its finances. While not explicitly specifying the webOS operating system, it’s hard to reduction the possibility of such a move. Of course, considering the popularity of Google’s free Android OS and the fact that rumored suitors such Lenovo and HTC already tout many Android-powered devices, it might be a tad hard to imagine a webOS-powered HTC device just yet. Of course, one of the obvious benefits of webOS would be its true multitasking, which allows many programs to process tasks simultaneously. Do you think that Palm would eventually license its webOS whether things become poor decent?

Not that you should need additional light for your notebook, but in the event that you do (maybe for your keyboard), you could always check out the CA LED Notebook Light, which is going for $26. It attaches to your notebook via a suction cup, so you’ll have to decide whether you’re cool with have to stick it to your notebook in such a manner. Surprisingly, it’s battery powered, as opposed to USB-powered as we’re more used to. possibly that would come in useful in dimly lit places, such as an aeroplane? Of course, whether you’re already using a notebook that has a backlit keyboard, that might seem a tad redundant.

Thanks to pictures leaked a week ago, we already know that the phone was destined for Verizon, but it does seem a tad out of the blue, not that we’re complaining, after all, getting the phone early is better than getting it later, right? Considering that Verizon doesn’t offer Google’s Nexus One just yet, the HTC Incredible would offer a good alternative for the moment, considering that it sports similar specifications, as well as a higher megapixel camera. Do you think that you’ll go for the HTC Incredible, or are you willing to wait for the Nexus One to be offered by Verizon? Unconfirmed specifications of the HTC Incredible include:

Google’s latest step in world domination comes in the scheme of Google Shopper for Android devices, allowing you to shop smarter. The application relies on your Android’ smartphone’s camera to scan majority of barcodes out there, alongside its ability to scan cover art of CDs, DVDs, video games and books. Once done with the scanning, Google Shopper will offer product-related data including the place to assemble your purchase as well as a price, whether possible. Alternatively, you can always speak the product’s name although non-native English speakers might find that option to be a tad troublesome. Google Shopper is available via the Android Market, and plays nice with all Android OS versions.

In light of the recent spat among Verizon and AT&T, that latest outage by Verizon might seem a tad ironic. Verizon subscribers by in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and California have been reported network issues, and there is speculation that that might be related to the merger with Alltel’s network. Apparently there is a 6-hour estimate for everything to be smooth sailing again, which is an insanely distant amount of date, particularly whether you’re heavily dependant on your cell phone. Are you feeling any effects related to that network issue? Drop us a comment to let us know.
