T-Mobile HTC HD2 Unboxed Before Launch

T-Mobile HTC HD2 Unboxed Before Launch

T-Mobile’s Windows Mobile powered HTC HD2 should only be officially going on sale on Wednesday, but it seems that someone managed to get a unit before the official term from Walmart, and even posted a video (after the jump) showing the device being unboxed. HTC’s HD2 is certainly an amazing phone, but with the announcement of Windows Phone 7 Series, you have to wonder whether T-Mobile is getting that phone a little too late? Would you get that phone when it’s released by T-Mobile, or are you planning on holding out for a newer phone?

T-Mobile To Partner With Clearwire For WiMAX?

T-Mobile To Partner With Clearwire For High Speed documents?

T-Mobile isn’t enjoying the duration of its life at the moment, since it’s currently facing an uphill battle against Verizon Wireless and AT&T. In order to keep up, the carrier certainly needs to look into getting some high speed notes on its network. With that in mind, reports indicate that the carrier is mulling the possibility of a joint venture with Clearwire for its WiMAX infrastructure. It’s certainly interesting to note that Sprint happens to control more than 50 percent of Clearwire, but it doesn’t seem that T-Mobile is considering a merger with Sprint. Do you think a WiMAX network would help improve your perception of T-Mobile?

T-Mobile USA To Offer iPhone In Late 2010 Or Early 2011?iphone-tmobile-germany.jpg" />

According to a recent interview, René Obermann, CEO of T-Mobile USA parent company Deutsche Telekom, has mentioned that T-Mobile USA might start offering the iPhone as soon as late 2010, or early 2011. While the carrier’s current focus is obviously on Google’s Android OS, getting the iPhone on its network would be a great move, considering the huge appeal of Apple’s mobile phone. Does that mean that Apple’s exclusivity deal with AT&T is be going down the drain? Are you looking forward to T-Mobile offering the iPhone, or do you think that Android devices are the way to go?

Google Nexus One heads for Sprint

Google Nexus One heads for Sprint

Looks like Sprint will be yet another carrier that will carry the Google Nexus One which they hope will be able to take full advantage of Sprint’s 3G Mobile Broadband Network. There is no word on pricing or availability, but do expect some news concerning both to be available pretty soon. Sprint touts that their 3G network has double the coverage of AT&T and 10 times that of T-Mobile when based on square miles. Expect Sprint's Nexus One to be powered by the Android 2.1 operating system. Other hardware specifications remain intact, so why not check out our review of the Nexus One and see whether it rocks your boat or not?
