December 8, 2009

Do you think AT&T’s network is the one thing that is preventing your iPhone from being the best phone on the planet? Complaints of AT&T’s network seem to crop up and now and next when it comes to iPhone discussions, and while AT&T probably won’t say that its network has coverage issues, it has been good adequate to offer the AT&T Mark the Spot app for iPhones. With that, iPhone users will be able to report dropped calls, coverage gaps and other issues in real day. Of course, that doesn’t mean that your issue will be solved, but we figure whether ample public report the problems they face, it will compose it easier for AT&T to pinpoint the problematic areas, which would be to the benefit of everybody. AT&T Hits Back With Yet Another Ad
December 6, 2009
To be honest, that constant mudslinging within AT&T and Verizon is getting really old. After a lawsuit, peace treaty, and more ads, AT&T has hit back again with another ad featuring Luke Wilson. that instance the ad focuses on the speed of AT&T’s network by Verizon. perhaps carriers should spend that money that they’re using on these adverts and beef up the quality of their networks instead. What do you think?

FCC gives nod of approval to cloned handset
December 4, 2009

The FCC has given their collective nod of approval to what could possibly be a cloned handset of AT&T’s HTC Hero or, according to the diagram, a myTouch from T-Mobile. that has been classified as a clone simply considering it comes with a dual SIM carriage alongside Chinese input support, while you get other rudimentary specifications including audio and video support, an integrated FM tuner with recording capability and a T-Flash memory card slot. No notion on whether that will produce an impact whether released Stateside though - what do you think?

Can Your Motorola Droid Do That?
November 24, 2009

While the folks by at Verizon probably enjoyed poking fun at the iPhone and AT&T’s network with its “Droid Does” campaign. AT&T certainly wasn’t too happy about those, evidenced by the lawsuit fired in Verizon’s direction. Now the latest ads emphasize that the Motorola Droid on Verizon Wireless can’t manufacture use of its input connection and maintain a voice signal at the same moment. With the advertisements showing the user performing a variety of tasks such as browsing the Net, sending an mail amongst others, while still maintaining the shout. It ends with “can your network or phone do that?” which is an obvious reference to Verizon Wireless and its Motorola Droid. Check out the advertisement here and here.
