Spiderpodium iPhone Holder Looks Creepy

We’ve already seen many different cradles for Apple’s iPhone, but you have to confess that the Spiderpodium does seem to stand out from the others, not least considering it has eight bendable spider-like legs. You’ll be able to bend the legs to hold up your iPhone on various surfaces, probably even the handlebars of your bike, not that we’re advocating you fiddle with your iPhone while riding it. The Spiderpodium is currently up for preorder for £14.99 ($23 USD) and it will be available on March 29th.

Street Fighter on iPhone, EA Sports Active 2.0, Beta 4 of OS 3.2 SDK surfaces

If you are a fan of old school horizontal fighters, Street Fighter IV is now on the iPhone. The game can be had for about $10 and there is no free trial version offered.
The new EA Sports Active 2.0 system will be available for the Wii, PS3, and iPhone when it launches. The system has a wireless control, arm and leg straps that sent knowledge to the app about your workout.
Apple has reportedly pushed out the fourth beta offering in the iPhone OS 3.2 SDK. The new version is said to be for development only and can’t be used for submitting apps.

China Unicom to get WiFi iPhone, No iPad/iPhone tethering, iPhone video signal rate surfaces

According to reports, China Unicom is set to sell the iPhone with WiFi. The current handsets it sells lack WiFi while gray market alternatives have it.
Steve Jobs has made it clear that those who buy the iPad in April won't be able to tether the device to the iPhone for 3G connectivity. That is hardly a surprise considering the iPhone still can’t tether to laptops in the US.
O2 has listed video calling fees for the iPhone according to remotes. Video calls in the UK are 20p per minute and have added to rumors that the next iPhone will support video calling.

Is The Palm Elan A New Device, Or Just A Pixi?

Is the “Elan” an upcoming device from Palm, or is it just another (code) name for the Palm Pixi? Screenshots of a site listing the Palm Elan have surfaced, and according to a user who claims to work for AT&T, the examining for the Elan should start in about two weeks and will have a ‘soft keyboard’. That being said, some folks have dug up certain sites listing accessories for the Palm Elan, and based on those pictures, it certain looks like a Palm Pixi, so possibly it’s just a cipher name? The Palm Elan probably belongs in the rumor bin for now, but we’ll keep an eye on it, to see whether anything more surfaces.

PSP Tablet Rumor Surfaces?

Could Sony be gearing up a PlayStation tablet of sorts to take on the challenge of Apple’s soon-to-be-released iPad? There isn’t any official evidence of the existence (or even plans) of such a device, the folks by at the Wall Street Journal hint that the Japanese electronics giant is busy coming up with a portable device that might blur the lines within netbooks, eBook readers, and the PSP. Based on that description, it certainly sounds like some sort of tablet or gaming device. Aside from that, there are additionally whispers of a smartphone that can download and play PlayStation games - PSP phone perhaps?

Asus OPlay Air HD2 Unveiled At CeBIT 2010

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting Apple’s iPad, you might be a little disappointed with all the rumors going around that Apple will not be able to meet the demand, and supply is short etc. That being said, Asus has come up with an updated version of the O! Play HD2, which will feature a built-in HDMI port, USB port, eSata port, not to mention 3 slots for memory cards. Specifications are scarce at the moment, considering that is able to play networked media, as well as Full HD 1080p video playback, it’ll certainly be popular amongst TV junkies. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted when more data on that surfaces.
