This “iPad Wi-Fi issue” seems to be getting blown out of proportion. After Israel banned the import of iPads, citing Wi-Fi issues, now it seems that Princeton and a few other universities have decided to block the iPad too, citing connectivity and safety measure issues. George Washington University and Princeton have both rejected the iPad, citing defense issues, while Cornell University is seeing connectivity issues with the device and fears for bandwidth overload. What next, will the iPad be blocked at Starbucks too?

Want to do some light travelling around the city? The Urban Scooter, designed by Daniel Dayag, concept looks pretty neat and should do the job. Of course, it being a scooter, you can’t expect to lug anything around aside from yourself, but whether you just needed to pop by the next block to have a cup of coffee at Starbucks, that might be just the thing. The spoke-less wheel design plus makes it stand out from the other dinky scooters that you might come across out there, ensuring that you prepare a statement.

While Starbucks previously allowed you to pay for your cup of java via its iPhone app, the service was only available in a pitiful 16 stores, now the coffee giant has probably decided that it’s satisfied with the response, and has rolled out the service to by 1,000 Starbucks branches. The system is pretty simple, all you have to do is punch in your Starbucks Card info, verify your details, and the app will display a QR cipher for the cashier to scan. whether you’re wondering whether the Starbucks behind your office accepts that method of payment, you can use the handy store locator to help you find out.
