Casio Pathfinder PRG110C-3 watch

Even watches are trying to go green these days, with the Casio Pathfinder PRG110C-3 watch taking a more literal approach by coming in a fluorescent green shade alongside a tiny solar cell integrated onto its face, harnessing the potential of the sun to charge its built-in battery. Apart from that alternative source of potential, it plus sports an altimeter, barometer, thermometer and digital compass to help you find your way and maintain bearings in the wilderness. Each $250 purchase comes in a recyclable package, and is available from Amazon exclusively. Do you think that they’re late (pun intended) to the green bandwagon considering they manufacture watches? [Press Release]

Motorola Milestone hitting India that month

If you happen to live in India, here's an interesting bit of news - the Motorola Milestone will be arriving there that coming March 22nd, where it will most probably be pre-loaded with Android 2.1 already, just like how its US counterpart, known as the Verizon Droid, has already started to receive the Android 2.1 update. Just to refresh your memory, the Milestone sports a 3.7" capacitive touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and a gamut of wireless options such as HSDPA/HSUPA, Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0. Read about our Droid review here.

Laptop Concept Folds Into A Briefcase

Laptop Concept Folds Into A Briefcase

It’s not often you take in a laptop being called “Playing By Heart”, but that’s what that concept laptop is called, and it certainly sports an interesting design. It looks sleek, smooth, and most importantly, it should be quite convenient to carry around, seeing that it sports a handle at the back of the laptop. It feels reminiscent of Apple’s Clamshell iBook notebooks. Aside from that, the handle can plus double up as a notebook stand which elevates your notebook to manufacture typing on the keyboard more ergonomic, as well as helping to cool your notebook down.

Piksol Solar Powered Shadow Panels

Piksol Solar Powered Shadow Panels

Here’s a rather interesting concept, dubbed Piksol. The device is really a solar powered shadow casting, panel, which seems rather useless on its own, but when used in large quantities, can come up with some rather interesting facades. As can be seen in the video (below), a large surface that sports many Piksol units bunched together can easily display the different pictures on the same surface. Could that be the future of billboards?

Natuzzi Surround Sofa Sports A Built-in iPod Dock

It seems that everything in that world is trying to sprout an iPhone dock, and now Italian furniture manufacturer Natuzzi has come up with the Surround, and the magic feature? You guessed it, an iPod dock with two speakers. that music-oriented sofa sports a high-quality leather finish as well as a custom order option to choose from a range of Natuzzi leather colors. Don’t suppose that will show up in Apple’s online store as an iPod accessory anytime soon.

Virgin To Offer The HTC Desire And Xperia X10

Virgin has officially announced its plans to introduce more Android-powered devices on its network, and it has two devices to show its dedication, the HTC Desire and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. We probably don’t need to remind you that the HTC Desire sports a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 3.7-inch AMOLED display. The Xperia X10 is no slouch either, particularly with its 4-inch touchscreen and Timescape app to link all your social networks and contacts together. Both phones will be hitting Virgin’s stores in April, though pricing and plan info is still unknown, albeit there is a promise that the plans will be “exceptionally compelling”.
