HDMI Converter targets gamers
December 28, 2009
We don't really see any point for the HDMI Converter as allows you to hook up your PS2, Game Cube, Xbox, Sony PSP Slim and Lite to a HDTV via HDMI. After all, graphics from the mentioned systems are meant for standard definition displays or less, and certainly seeing blown up images from your PSP or PS2 on such a huge display might just prove to be more than disconcerting for most. Still, it does offer that semblance of big-screen experience, but you will have to dig out $69.90 for one of these.

Nintendo DSi LL hits Japan
November 23, 2009

Nintendo's DSi LL has arrived in Japan yesterday, and by the duration the Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara opened, there were around 100 society lined up. Looks like we could see the Sony PSP-3000 and PS3 both move down a notch from first and second places in the weekly Japanese hardware sales charts next week as the DSi LL helps Nintendo leapfrog to first place. Could that introduction additionally push the PS2 out of the sales charts since there would be 3 iterations of the DS next? As for those living in Europe and US, we'll have to wait until 2010.
