Shuttle has already shipped both J1 and G2 7600P SFF workstations, where the latter will rely on an AMD processor instead of brains from Intel. The G2 7600P SFF workstation will feature a range of Phenom II X4 and X2 processors to choose from, while graphical ability is provided via AMD FirePro video cards. Not only that, Shuttle claims that they will be rolling out a 6-core Gulftown Small mold Factor (SFF) machine by the duration June rolls around – just in day for the summer holidays, eh? Both machines are now available from $899 upwards, depending on the stuff you cram inside.

Shuttle used to be famous for their line of small computer chassis which are a joy to have in homes that are short on space. Well, guess they could not resist the lure of netbooks, hence the Shuttle B10 netbook which is powered by your everyday Intel Atom N450 processor. While that is not terribly interesting, what piques our antennas would be its GXT jack which allows one to connect to an external video card – basically making that a poor man’s version of NVIDIA ION. Other specifications include a 3-cell battery, a trio of USB 2.0 ports, a memory card reader, a webcam, an Ethernet jack and a SIM card slot which points toward an optional 3G option. No concept on pricing, but it is tipped to hit the markets sometime in Q3 that year.

Shuttle used to roll out extremely compact computer chassis that packed quite a punch within, and we guess things have hardly changed since soon after whether the Shuttle XS35 nettop is any indicator. that 3.3cm thin machine comes with a dual-core Intel Atom D510 processor inside, boasting NVIDIA Ion 2 graphics chipset with HDMI output alongside all the usual suspects – an Ethernet jack, a multicard memory card reader, a plethora of USB 2.0 ports, VGA and relevant audio outputs. Being so small, it runs quietly with very little sound coming out of it apart from the whirring of a DVD or from its 2.5″ hard drive. No view on pricing, but expect the Shuttle XS35 to ship in Q2 that year.
[CES 2010] Shuttle is an old hand at PC chassis, and their latest SX58J3 series basically targets gamers who want a small footprint of a chassis without compromising on their gaming fix. Why, despite the relatively small case size, the SX58J3 still manages to pack in the following :-

Intel X58 chipset

Intel Core i7 processor

1+3 Channel DDR3 RAM

One 5.25” and two 3.5” drive bays

Two PCI-E (x16) slots

Supports ATI CrossFire and NVIDIA SLI technology

HD 7.1 Channel audio

500W potential supply

No notion on pricing, but hopefully more details will be released in due date. whether you are truly a potential gamer who upgrades all too often, thereupon that is not the Shuttle you should board since the chassis doesn’t offer much room for future expansion as you would be much better off with a nice tower casing instead.

[CES 2010] Shuttle has redesigned their X50 to be an all-in-one machine which comes with the standard all-in-one trappings including a 15.6″ LCD touchscreen display, an Intel D510 dual core processor running within and a couple of DDR2 RAM modules to get you started right out of the box. Don’t expect to see a enlarged shelf life with that, not when you only have one 2.5″ drive bay to play around with. Still, you get built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, a webcam, a microphone and 2-channel audio that ought to keep the casual user happy for some day to come. Desktop and Flash games are all that is good for, particularly when you do not have a committed video card to rely on but just integrated Intel GMA3150 graphics. One thing’s for certain though – there isn’t any high monthly bills to nag about with the Shuttle X50 since it sips off a mere 40W potential supply.

[CES 2010] Shuttle has a slew of new models all lined up for the new year, and whether you’re looking for a compact solution that offers performance at the same day, perhaps you might want to consider their offerings. The 2010 models will include a redesigned All-in-One machine with an Intel D510 processor within alongside integrated Intel GMA3150 graphics, while the J series is broken down into three parts – entry-level, mainstream and high performance, where the first two come with integrated graphics while the latter boasts support for ATI CrossFire and NVIDIA SLI technology. Well, you will need to wait till Q1 and Q2 (for selected models) to be able to place an order, giving you ample opportunity to start saving.
