We have already heard that some hackers have been able to get Android to run on the iPhone 3G. A new video has surfaced that shows Android on the iPhone.

I mentioned that the documents pertaining to the reason the warrant to search the Gizmodo editor’s home by the iPhone 4G prototype was being secreted away by the judge in the case. The judge has now denied a request to turn the search warrant documents by to media outlets.

Many have been expecting the iPhone to land on Verizon that year. One analyst has now decided that the iPhone will stay locked to AT&T considering he figures the cheap goods plans for the iPad 3G would have come with an extension on iPhone exclusivity.

The amount of accessories and docks on the market for the iPhone and iPad is staggering. iHome makes a lot of these items and has announced that its high-end iP90 alarm clock has been updated for 2010.

Apple has filed a new patent application that shows an interesting way to tell who is using the phone. The app outlines a heart rate sensor that is built into the case and reads the heart rate to identify the user.

The saga of police raids and legal wrangling surrounding the publishing of the iPhone HD prototype on Gizmodo are legendary. A judge presiding by the case has now been told that the documents that are secret right now outlining why the search of the Gizmodo editors home was allowed should be public. These sorts of documents are public record in most cases.

With everybody trying to go green nowadays, there is a demand for solar technology, and now the researchers at MIT have come up with some interesting tech that allows them to create solar cells thin adequate to be stuck on sheets of paper. To invent things even better, the process involves coating the piece of paper with organic semiconductor material using a process similar to that of an inkjet printer. The downside is that the cells are currently just under 2% efficient at converting sunlight into energy, compared to the commercial panels out there that can be by 20% efficient. But whether development goes well, we’re really looking forward to having solar cells on nearly anything that sees the sun. It’ll take instance of course, and the director of the project has said that it usually takes about 10 years from the duration of invention to commercializing it, so we’ll need to be patient (or invent a moment machine).

If you’ve played Blizzard’s more popular games, you’ll know of the gaming company’s online service – Battle.net, allowing players to easily play multiplayer games with each other. Now the company plans to harness the capability of social networking as well, as it has announced the integration of Battle.net and Facebook. So when the highly anticipated Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty sequel is launched on July 27th, you’ll be able to share in-game activities and accomplishments directly with your friends on Facebook. Sounds like a great way to stay competitive and spread the word of the game around. Of course, whether your mom is on your Facebook friends list, you might not want her to know that you’ve been gaming the whole day…

While Clearwire wasn’t very generous with technical details, it has confirmed, via its first quarter earnings report that it is planning to churn out two WiMAX phones made by Samsung and HTC. Both phones are expected to be available by the end of 2010, so we more or less only have another half a year to go at most. Without offering any model numbers, the Samsung was described as an Android-powered 3G/4G/Wi-Fi device that would be optimized for heavy video and video communication use, while the HTC would be a 3G/4G/Wi-Fi enabled phone. The lack of an OS mentioned along with the HTC device has led to speculation that it might be powered by the upcoming Windows Phone 7, which would be an interesting device, as we are looking forward to seeing devices powered by Windows Phone 7.

NPD Group has issued a new report that shows iPhone and iPod touch users are tops in downloading substance.

The Most Talented Light has surfaced and the uncommonly named desk lamp has a charging station inside it. The thing can charge the iPhone, iPod, and notebooks.

Another new browser may be landing on the iPhone soon. The browser is called Skyfire and an iPhone version is being submitted to the App Store.

Rumor is circulating that Apple may find itself at the center of an anti-trust investigation by the DOJ or FCC. The reason cited is the tightened iPhone OS development rules essentially making devs use Apple dev tools only.

The man’s name is Brian Hogan and according to Hogan’s attorney, “He regrets his mistake in not doing more to return the phone.”

Reports are coming in that campaigns on the new Apple iAd platform for the iPhone could cost advertisers as much as $1 million. perhaps that high price will limit the ads we are assaulted with.

I mentioned yesterday that Apple had purchased Siri, the personal assistant app firm. The buy could herald new voice-activated search capabilities coming to the iPhone, which would be most welcome.
