Kodak rolls out not another digital camera, but the Pulse digital photo frame which has yet to be formally introduced. The Pulse will boast a 8″ touchscreen color display at 800 x 600 resolution, where you get a 4:3 aspect ratio as well as 512MB of internal memory. Expect the Pulse to handle all the usual memory card formats including SD, SDHC, MMC, xD and the Memory Stick/Memory Stick PRO Duo flash family. Should you prefer to tote additional photos on a USB flash drive, that isn’t a problem for the Kodak Pulse since it plus comes with a USB port for that purpose. With built-in Wi-Fi like any other decent digital photo frame these days, the Kodak Pulse can connect to your home network for you to send digital photos by in a jiffy. No word on its official release, but we’re looking towards CES 2010 for an official announcement.

For those who are concerned about the environment, the NIX X10A Energy Saving digital photo frame comes in handy as it will switch itself off automatically whenever you’re no longer within a 2.5 meter line of sight. Apart from that, you get 1GB of internal memory to complement your range of memory cards (SD, SDHC, xD, Sony MS, USB stick), a 10″ LCD display and a remote control. The NIX X10A Energy Saving digital photo frame is going for £89.99 a pop.
