Panasonic All-in-One Viera portable TV

We often think of Panasonic's Viera TV as a really large appliance, but that instance round they have taken the shrinking gun and gave it a good zap, resulting in the Viera portable TV range. Featuring Panasonic’s latest 10.1” a-Si TFT displays at 1,024 × 600 resolution, the DMP-BV200 and DMP-HV100 will allow you to watch TV, DVD and Blu-ray (for the BV200 only), while playing nice with all forms of AVCHD video from various sources. Apart from that, it can additionally handle DivX files with aplomb from either a USB device or an SD memory card. Alternatively, you can plus hook either one up to the Panasonic Viera Home Theater system and DVR, thanks to the DY-WL10 Wi-Fi dongle.

The Wings UT300 GPS navigation system is available for folks living in South Korea, where it will additionally double up as an in-vehicle entertainment system. Leica Geosystems is preparing to roll out the mojoMINI GPS navigation system Stateside, according to info available at the FCC site. that is pretty much similar to other GPS navigation systems on the market with a 4.3? display, where it will additionally be equipped with a car charger, a mounting bracket and cradle and stylus for the touchscreen display. Other specifications include an SD memory card slot, a mini USB charging port, a headphone jack and an embedded external speaker. No notion on pricing or availability as at press day though, so stay tuned!

Aiptek is back with the D25 Boombox DVD Projector that lets you watch your favorite DVDs wherever you are, never mind that there isn't any TV available in the vicinity. After all, it has a swivel projector that features 20 ANSI lumens brightness, VGA resolution and a contrast ratio of 100:1. Since it can swivel, you can project to virtually anywhere in the room without bothering about placing that on a Lazy Susan. ODROID Gets The Android 2.1 Treatment

You might already have caught wind of the ODROID when we mentioned it some instance ago, but in case you missed it, that device by Hardkernel is described as an entertainment device with a focus on gaming. While it was previously shipping with Android 1.5, it seems that the device will be getting the Android 2.1 update pretty soon. Considering that Android 1.5 is starting to feel more than a little old, that is certainly good news for folks who are interested in the ODROID. Specifications of the ODROID include:
- 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen
- 320x480 pixel resolution
- Samsung S5Pc100(CPU) based on ARM cortex A8
- HDMI out, supports video output at 720p
- microSD and SD memory card support
- Wi-Fi

Looks like the Spring Design Alex has taken one step closer to becoming available to the general public, as it has just paid a friendly visit to the FCC. In case you aren’t familiar with that device, it’s the first Android-powered eBook reader to sport full browser capabilities, not to mention its patented dual screen display, dubbed the Duet Navigator. Other features of the Alex include Wi-Fi, 3G, SD memory card slot, 6-inch e-ink EPD display and 3.5-inch color LCD display. Do you think it will supply a worthy challenger to Amazon’s Kindle?

Tanita body composition weighing machine

Tanita has come up with a meter-integrated body composition weighing machine that boasts an SD memory card slot to store knowledge within, and it will hit the Japanese market come that April. All documents that is stored on its SD memory card can be read on a PC thanks to its notes management software, where chronological graphs are generated from the info. The main reason behind an SD card? Well, Tanita claims it offers more durability compared to a regular USB drive with all the insertion and removal, although we leave that up to open debate.
