At the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco, the company, selected as one of only five companies to present at the Launch Pad event, unveiled its latest feature, the “super embed”. subject matter publishers will be able to gather web pages related to a topic, organize them into “pearl trees” and embed them in their composition pages, soon after readers will be able to browse these pages from the embedded pearl trees and read the related substance without leaving the commentary page. This is still very much a rumor at that point, and with Apple, you can never get any concrete info until they’ve announced it. Word is going around that Apple has booked the conference center at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco on June 22nd, which has caused many folks to speculate that the highly anticipated next-gen iPhone is going to be announced on said date. whether you recall, Apple had previously used the same venue to unveil all the earlier iPhone models, as well as the iPad, so there is some history to the venue. What do you want the next generation iPhone to have?

You may have caught wind of the news of Microsoft’s event on April 12th in San Francisco, and new information has surfaced, indicating that the event will be to introduce the long-awaited Microsoft phone, probably the Pure and Turtle from Project Pink. According to the details, the phones will be running on Verizon Wireless’ network, and should be on sale within the month after the event. that event will probably be another nail on the Sidekick’s coffin, as they will probably manufacture the Sidekick line more or less look passé. Are you looking forward to some new phones from Microsoft, or are you still hyped up about the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 event?

Looks like folks with the iPhone won’t be able to gloat by Palm owners anymore since the Unreal Engine 3 will be making its way to the webOS platform as well. While details are pretty scarce at the moment, Palm just announced a deal with Epic Games at the Games Developer Conference in San Francisco. We can’t wait to see the processors found within Palm’s range of devices to be put to good use with quality games. Sony has just announced the PlayStation Move at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Presented last year at E3 (in fanfare), it is now a real product that will be sold as a bundle (game+ EyeToy webcam + PS Move) for $100. whether you add the secondary controller, and construct that a set of two, the bill will fairly quickly.
