Alaska Airlines goes one up on its rivals in the near future, allowing you to enjoy Wi-Fi connectivity aboard all their flights, regardless of the bird which you're assigned to. that is made possible thanks to their collaboration with Aircell’s Gogo service aboard all aircraft. Swinxs game console arrives Stateside

Well, think again - the Swinxs gaming console is now available Stateside despite it being announced a good two years back, having launched in Europe last year. The Swinxs is touted to offer hours of recreational entertainment through the use of lights and a built-in voice which will explain the game while recognizing players and doubling up as a referee. Since it is screen-free, you won't have to distress about not owning a TV in your living room. Capable of accommodating up to 10 players while featuring 26 games to keep your little ones entertained, it would certainly be interesting to see how the $150 Swinxs fares in the towering run against its technologically superior rivals.

AT&T download speeds seem fastest among rivals

Statistics, damned statistics! Well, depending on which point of view you come from, we suppose you can always conjure a rosy picture about your specific product. Take the case of mobile carriers, where everyone claims to have the fastest speed normally, and that moment round AT&T emerges as the obvious winner within a tussle with Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon. Based on tests done by PCWorld in December of 2009 and January of 2010, it shows AT&T hitting average download speed 812 Kbps and average upload speed 660 Kbps, which is the highest among its rivals. One good thing is AT&T has improved tremendously by the past year, but next again the tryout criteria was not revealed. After all, we did run into many public complaining about the slowness of their 3G connection on their iPhones on the CES showfloor last month, so go figure.

iPhone video calls confirmed among others

Check out the name of the icons you see above - it is a no-brainer that iPhone OS 3.2 has a provision to accept or decline video calls, which could point towards such a feature being enabled in the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 firmware. whether that proves true, soon after chances are the fourth generation iPhone will finally receive a front-facing camera to construct video calls lengthy after its rivals have been doing that for years. Of course, it could plus mean a future iPad that will thereupon include said camera for video calling desires. What do you think?

IBM unveils new potential processors

Good to see IBM helping keep the earth green - let us hope that other companies will additionally not let up on their efforts.

BenQ V2220 Is The Slimmest LCD In The World

BenQ certainly looks like it wants to stay ahead of the pack when it comes to display technology, and with its flagship V2220, it might just have something to fend off its rivals. The 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio looks flashy on paper, but most society wouldn’t care too much about it, as the most noticeable feature of that display is really its 15mm thickness, helping it boast that it’s the thinnest 21.5 monitor around. whether you want HDMI, the H variants will support HDMI and headphone connection options. With its 1920 x 1080 resolution, 250 nits of brightness, 1000:1 real contrast ratio and 5ms response moment, it certainly looks like BenQ has a winner on its hands. that display will be launched in Taiwan within the next few months, and will be available globally in June.
