British designer Alice Davies came up with the Virgin Media Laptop concept that offers a teaching tool that comes in a retro design, although it packs in contemporary day technology such as Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free moments – perfect when you need to demonstrate a concept or view using both hands for gesticulation plans, while laying the Virgin Media Laptop on the table comfortably. Typing can be achieved via a remote control as enlarged as it remains within working distance, while the built-in Virgin Media Broadband device makes way for fast World Wide Web navigation. It will probably rely on induction charging should that device be realized, doing away with the need for more wires. Do you think that will catch on?

According to recent reports, Sony is planning to introduce its new TVs that are powered by Intel chips and Google software next month. Sony and Google are planning to discuss the new products at a conference in San Francisco come May 19th and 20th. Logitech has plus been tapped up to design the remote control for the new set-top box, including a tiny keyboard for navigation. The box will obviously be powered by Google’s Android operating system, and requires an World Wide Web connection. That being said, Google looks like it’s entering a highly competitive market, with players such as Cisco, Motorola, Microsoft, Apple, TiVo, and Boxee all potential opponents. Of course, Google itself entered the mobile phone scene a while back, so it’s no stranger to intense competition. Are you looking forward to a Google set-top box, or are you perfectly happy with your TiVo?

The Japanese are at the forefront of cutting edge technology most of the instance, and we do have word that they are working on a new project that involves mind control of consumer home products including air conditioners, where sensors will be able to tell from the body temperature in a room and build the appropriate adjustments to the temperature. Guess whether you start to feel as though you were about to freeze your family jewels off, your brain will inform the home system to increase the temperature, since pressing the button on the air conditioner’s remote control up by a few notches would be too much work, eh?

You might remember the 9000 Series LED TV from Samsung that we caught sight of at CES, and now these TVs have gone official in Korea, along with a similarly cool LCD remote control. The TV offers a 9.8mm thick luxury panel sporting a 3D proprietary system, and plus supports Wi-Fi, DLNA and is compatible with Energy Star 4.0. Aside from its technical specs, you have to confess that the 9000 Series is an amazing looking TV.

For those of you who feel that you can only go in comfortable conditions, how about considering the Giovannoni Washlet? that model offers nothing but the very best, where you get a tornado flush, triple-jet rimless flushing system and CeFiONtect-hygienic glazing for ceramic surfaces. Apart from that, there is additionally a self-cleaning washing wand to keep things nice and clean, a heated seat for those winter moments, a deodorizer and a remote control for those who can’t help but keep their fingers busy even when they have their pants down. As for the sleek remote stand, it doubles up as a toilet paper roll holder as well. No concept on pricing, but don’t expect it to be cheap!

Sony has a heart for thsoe who are behind the wheel most of the instance with the RDP-NWV500 speaker which will fit snugly into your vehicle’s cup holder. that 16W tumbler will tether itself to your portable audio player of choice, sending out audio in 360 degrees of goodness via its 2-way speakers (56-mm woofer, 20-mm tweeter). A remote control is thrown into the mix so that you don’t have to fumble with its controls that are located on top when driving. Nice to see that $200 plus purchase come with a charging dock that will simultaneously charges your Walkman when docked.

Using a remote control, you will be able to extend the six-inch arm and activate the LED throwing light directly onto your rims for a glowing effect. There are seven colors to choose from, depending on your mood as well as budget. The kit will cost you half a grand, but whether it helps increase your chances of snagging a chick during one of those wild Saturday nights, do you think that is well worth it?

What you see here is truly something worth beholding – it is a Bugatti Veyron that has undergone the Lego treatment, where it comes complete with remote control capability as well as a 7+R sequential gearbox. Apart from that, a retracting spoiler and independent suspension makes that one truly desirable geeky toy, so to speak, but it will definitely take a whole lot of duration to assemble one of these puppies.
