Taito has unveiled a new desktop toy for grown up geeks – the R2-D2 vacuum cleaner. that little droid that could now picks up leftover crumbs from all your snacking done at the work table, and is USB powered so you won’t need to anguish about purchasing a new set of batteries after a few rounds of vacuuming. Retailing for $20.90 a pop, it will ship later that August.

This Yuletide season, why not get into a sci-fi mood with all things Star Wars? After all, we’re pretty certain that the Star Wars Wine Stoppers you see here would go down well with your Star Wars Christmas lights in the tree in your living room. You will be able to choose from a variety of Star Wars staples including R2-D2, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and a Stormtrooper to adorn the top of your opened wine bottle, retailing for $12 a pop (pun not intended). Of course, why stop the flow of wine when you can revel and usher in the new year by emptying all bottles from your collection?
