Superbus Designed By Students manufacture Public Transportation Look Cool

It’s not often you construct out something dubbed “super” and find out that it’s additionally an eco-oriented product, but that’s just what the Superbus is. The students at UT Delft in the Netherlands have come up with a prototype Superbus, which is an electric-powered machine, sporting a carbon fiber shell, low chassis, and 16 individual gull-wing doors. Thanks to its lithium-polymer battery pack that powers its motors (up to 800hp whether we may add), it’s a zero-emission vehicle, and can travel up to 130 miles before needing to be juiced up. Passengers will have to book their seats in advance, either by calling or texting a pickup duration and location to the driver, after which the driver will figure out the quickest and most efficient way to get everybody to their desired destination.

Will we have a companion vehicle to take with us when we’re on public transportation next year? The CMYK folding bike certainly looks like it can manufacture that a reality. The bike can be folded up in a few easy steps, and the 110 volt battery is decent to ability the bike for about 50 minutes after a 2-hour charge. iCarte adds NFC and RFID to the iPhone

Wireless Dynamics has announced iCarte, an iPhone add-on that adds NFC and RFID capabilities (read and write) to the iPhone. that could be used in many ways, like contact-less micro-payments, public transportation tickets and knowledge gathering (ads, promos...). NFC is very popular in countries like Japan. In France, the subway system is equipped with NFC to replace paper tickets. Last summer, there were rumors that Apple would integrate NFC in the next iPhone, and whether that was the case, Wireless Dynamic might be able to build on the momentum with iCarte. that product uses a smart chip from NXP Semiconductors. They too would benefit from the NFC boom predicted by some.
