Upcoming Mac mini To Sport HDMI?

While there isn’t any official announcement just yet, word is going around that the latest prototypes of a new Mac mini show that it will sport a HDMI port instead of the legacy DVI connector. To further add credibility to that bit of news, a picture supposedly showing the Mac mini with a HDMI port has surfaced, though there isn’t any way to confirm the authenticity of such a picture, particularly when you take into explanation the Photoshop wizardry that folks can perform nowadays. Have you been looking forward to a HDMI port on your Macs, or are you perfectly happy with your current analog and DVI connectors?

HP to develop devices with built-in projector

Granted, pico projectors haven't really taken off just yet nor anytime in the near future, but that doesn't mean hardware manufacturers won't try to incorporate it in their future devices. Take HP for instance - they are working on a tablet PC and notebook that will feature an integrated pico-projector inside each of them. There is no proper prototypes shown off (or leaked) for the tablet just yet, but it could have its roots in the HP Touchsmart tablet PCs from all those years ago. As for the notebook, the projector will be placed on top of its display just like where most webcams are situated. It does assemble us wonder where the webcam will thereupon be placed - perhaps on a swiveling, pivoted segment right beside the projector?

Motorola Droid prototype out on eBay

Want to go one up on your friends? Motorola's Droid prototype seemed to have made its way to eBay, where bidding starts from $485 upwards. Apparently, that is believed to be one of the five prototypes available, making it all the more rare and exotic compared to other supercars. You get a chrome bezel with that instead of a black one, silver buttons instead of gold and some sort of enhanced LED lighting located on the front buttons.

US Army to get AM-Pholed prototypes

Nice to know our men in uniform who proudly and bravely defend our country will be getting prototype versions of flexible AM-Pholeds. It remains to be seen just which part of the battlefield operations will experience action with such prototypes, although we do know that the US Army has its eyes on enabling flexible PHOLED technology to be adorned on a soldier, perhaps to check out real instance directions from the top right on your sleeve without bogging you down with heavy equipment?
