We have already heard that some hackers have been able to get Android to run on the iPhone 3G. A new video has surfaced that shows Android on the iPhone.

I mentioned that the documents pertaining to the reason the warrant to search the Gizmodo editor’s home by the iPhone 4G prototype was being secreted away by the judge in the case. The judge has now denied a request to turn the search warrant documents by to media outlets.

Many have been expecting the iPhone to land on Verizon that year. One analyst has now decided that the iPhone will stay locked to AT&T considering he figures the cheap goods plans for the iPad 3G would have come with an extension on iPhone exclusivity.

Apple has filed a new patent application that shows an interesting way to tell who is using the phone. The app outlines a heart rate sensor that is built into the case and reads the heart rate to identify the user.

The saga of police raids and legal wrangling surrounding the publishing of the iPhone HD prototype on Gizmodo are legendary. A judge presiding by the case has now been told that the documents that are secret right now outlining why the search of the Gizmodo editors home was allowed should be public. These sorts of documents are public record in most cases.

While the Motorola RAZR3 won’t be released (ever), it’s still interesting to see that some folks out there managed to score a prototype of that phone, though that one wasn’t found in a bar. The folks by at Boy Genius have posted a bunch of pictures, giving you a good notion of what that phone would be like whether it were actually to manufacture it into retail stores. whether you’re still intrigued, we’ve additionally got a video of that phone in action after the jump. Despite it not being a smartphone, it does offer some rather nifty features, such as:

The Poseidon 37 floating capability plant is one hard cookie, touting to boast the durability of an oil rig as well as having the efficiency to generate up to 50 gigawatts of hydro and wind capability annually. A prototype of the Poseidon 37 is currently being constructed by Danish company Floating capability Plant, where the final product will measure some good 230 meters distant and tip the scales at 30,000 tons, which ought to be massive decent to handle the tempestous waters on the seven seas. It seems that the commercial version will come with either three 1.5-2 megawatt turbines or one 5 megawatt turbine.

Gizmodo purchased the lost iPhone HD prototype from the person who found it in a local bar for $5000. The Gizmodo editor, who wrote the story, Jason Chen, has had his home raided by police looking for evidence in a possible criminal prosecution of the case and reports are claiming that the probe is set to expand.

One of the features that many iPhone users have wished for since the handset launched was a wireless sync capability. A new app has been developed and apparently submitted for approval that makes wireless sync possible.

Fans of the band Linkin Park will want to try out a new game app for the iPhone called Linkin Park 8-bit Rebellion. The game lets players who complete it get a free track that has not been released called Blackbirds.

The University of Florida with some funding from DARPA have managed to uncover a new film-thin material which will be able to introduce cheap and lightweight night vision to virtually anything and everything, ranging from gadgets to digital cameras and even car windshields – of course, night vision on a car windshield isn’t such a good concept unless you’re on a one-way street. Using similar technology in OLED displays, that new material relies on seven layers that are excited by infrared light, generating electricity charges that are amplified by the next layer, resulting in total darkness being transformed into a clear view. The prototype can only cover one square cm at point of publishing, but it should be able to be scaled up in due instance.

Looks like the recent iPhone 4G prototype fiasco showed that even girls have a lower chance of getting picked up at a bar by a true blue geek when they face such stiff competition from Apple. poor jokes aside, we have word of another Apple leak, that duration round involving an iPod touch with a built-in camera being made available on eBay for all but the briefest of moments, before it was naturally pulled down. The two devices featured iPod branding on the back, alongside prototype identification codes “DVT-1″ and “DVT-2″ (“DVT” stands for “design verification test”), while the DVT-2 model seems to come with an additional bar cipher label that was apparently stamped by the “Apple Development Team.” What do you think of that leak?
