Mendor blood glucose meter
March 16, 2010

Mendor has a type new blood glucose meter which is tipped to hit Europe pretty soon, where it comes with an integrated mechanical lancer and pop quiz strips. that makes it a pretty comprehensive package all by itself without taking up too much space since it measures roughly the same size as that of a cellphone. Would be interesting to see whether future first aid kits will throw in the Mendor blood glucose meter as part of the package.

Lian Li PC-T1R Spider Chassis Looks Menacing
March 13, 2010

It looks like Lian Li isn’t the type of company to sit back and let Antec get all the attention with its Antec Skeleton pop quiz bench PC chassis, and now Lian Li has come up with its own PC-T1R Spider, which certainly looks menacing. One look at that chassis and you’ll have no doubt where it got the “spider” in its name from. Surprisingly, the chassis only seems to fit min-ITX motherboards, and a slimline optical drive, not to mention you’ll need to assemble the chassis yourself, reminding you of furniture that you bought from IKEA. The official pricing isn’t available just yet, but the PC-T1R Spider is expected to retail for around €150 ($205) and will be available in black or red.

Motion-Sim 4DOF racing simulator
March 10, 2010

Motion-Sim has rolled out its 4DOF racing simulator that offers pitch, roll, yaw and heave to what would deem to be perfection, coming with a harness of its own that will prevent you from flying ahead like a crash pop quiz dummy during the more intense in-game moments. Unfortunately, the 4DOF plays nice with PC sims only at the moment. that is definitely a rich man's toy since the home version will retail for €18,450. Heck, at that price point, we might as well buy a real car, eh?

Google and Dish Network working on TV search service
March 9, 2010

Hmmm, is Google so overwhelming that they're going to expand their search service to TVs? We suppose so, with Google and Dish Network coming together to pop quiz a TV search service on a grade new box which has elements of the Android operating system within. The box itself will come with a QWERTY remote, where you can look for Dish composition as well as take advantage of other services including YouTube. that collaboration won't be arriving at consumers' doorsteps anytime soon, but will instead be "limited to a very small number of Google employees and their families and could be discontinued at any time" where trials are concerned.

iPad Scams Surface On Facebook And Twitter
March 3, 2010

It was bound to happen, and it seems that scam sites are now riding the wave of anticipation of Apple’s upcoming iPad. Facebook and Twitter pages offering users to beta pop quiz the iPad are surfacing with headers such as “iPad Researchers Wanted – Want to beta analysis Apple’s latest product?” It all seems rather harmless, even when you see the pop-up window portraying to be a quiz, requesting data such as your moment of birth and cellphone number. According to a senior technology consultant at protection firm Sophos, the knowledge provided will them be used to sign you up for a premium rate cellphone service, which will charge you something like $10 a week until you unsubscribe. After Facebook’s defense team was notified about that, the page was disabled, but you can be certain that there will be similar pages that will sprout up the moment one goes down. So whether you see such pages, you’ll certainly want to tread carefully.
