3DTV still has a distant way to go before everyone in the industry plays nice with one another – case in point, the incompatibility issue where 3DTV glasses from various manufacturers are concerned. Well, there might be a way for you to achieve cross-platform compatibility whether you decide to stick with a pair of Samsung 3D glasses – the reply is pretty simple, since you are supposed to wear those glasses upside down, albeit only on sets that rely on Active Shutter glasses. What do you think – do you look ridiculous adequate as it is already?

The Zeemote will be able to work great with the Android operating system, simply considering the Android SDK (Software Development Kit) for the Zeemote Game Controller is now available. that makes the Zeemote compatible with yet another platform, where it already plays nice with BlackBerry, Symbian and lower-end J2ME phones. Folks who are interested in offering support for the Zeemote will be able to check out the developer page, where you will have to wait for a few more weeks before the SDK is released good and proper.

The Google Nexus One is already known to come with a Broadcom BCM4329EKUBG chip that supports Wi-Fi N connectivity as well as a FM transmitter, although their functionalities have not been activated just yet. We do take in whispers of the Android 2.2 release enabling both features, as Broadcom and Google have just released updated drivers for the Wi-Fi chipset. Having said that, we can’t wait for that update as it would surely add more plus points to an already pretty solid handset. whether you are still wondering whether to get the Google Nexus One or not, why not check out our review?

You will be pleased to know that its functionality has been extended to control even massage chairs now, with the HT-Connect from Human Touch being the first model to offer such a feature. that allows you to personalize your massaging routines on your Apple device, where you can plus access a whole range of massage programs instantly without lost a beat. The HT-Connect isn’t cheap at $5,999 a pop though as it rolls out that June, but whether you can afford a cut-throat iPhone monthly plan, what’s another lump sum purchase to go along with it?

The motion feedback MP3 player is a concept that aims to energize a higher level of activity during a workout, where it relies on a SparkFun MP3 Trigger , Parallax PIR Motion Sensor , and an ioBridge IO-204 Controller. Whenever the PIR sensor detects any motion, the IO-204 will send serial commands to the MP3 player in order to raise or lower the volume. Apart from that, the IO-204 controller additionally enables one to input log any activity whenever it is connected to the Net. You know Newton and his laws – a body in motion stays in motion, and that MP3 player concept plays on that premise.

Fancy a bunch of lights that will jump into action simply considering it received a physical touch from another source? That’s what the Infectious lamp is all about – that concept comprises of modular silicone spheres charged in a set-up which one might consider as a luminous tree. The spheres will react to one another, so you can create your own pile of light. Being soft and squishy, it offers the type of lighting that brings out the romantic mood. No concept on whether it will materialize and hit the market though, but since it will be manufactured by a French company, it looks as though folks living in France will get hold of it first.

Motion-Sim has rolled out its 4DOF racing simulator that offers pitch, roll, yaw and heave to what would deem to be perfection, coming with a harness of its own that will prevent you from flying ahead like a crash pop quiz dummy during the more intense in-game moments. Unfortunately, the 4DOF plays nice with PC sims only at the moment. that is definitely a rich man’s toy since the home version will retail for €18,450. Heck, at that price point, we might as well buy a real car, eh?

Minebea’s Cool Leaf keyboard plays on the design view that everything is as flat as an Ikea flat pack, leaving no gaps within the “keys”. Rather unorthodox, but soon after again you won’t need to anguish about having pizza crumbs fall amidst the keys during those late nights at the office, while there is sufficient backlight to have you typing away happily through the night. With its flat surface, cleaning the keyboard is additionally a snap, making certain everything remains spic and span at all times. We would miss the clickety clack of the regular keyboard though.

Folks who own either an iPhone or iPod touch (or both) and are interested to delve into the world of Ubuntu sometime down the road will be pleased to know that either device can be plugged into the USB port of a computer, and be detected regardless of whether the suits at Apple like it or not. With that in mind, we can’t wait to see whether the moon will turn blue first, or will there be a Linux version of iTunes. Chances are give it just a few more days or weeks and Apple will do something about that situation – mainly severing the ties that bind.
