If you’re conscious about the environment, soon after you’ll certainly want to pick an eco-friendly phone, and the freshly-announced LG Remarq might be just what you were looking for. The phone has been confirmed to be offered by Sprint, and is 87 percent made from recyclable materials and 19 percent made from recycled plastic. LG and Sprint claim that that phone sports low levels of bromides and PV plastics in the phones construction, not to mention a fully recyclable box. The Remarq actually looks a lot like the Samsung Reclaim, which can be seen as the Remarq’s direct competitor. Despite its low-end status, the LG Remarq still manages to pack in a 1.3-megapixel camera, microSDHC card expansion and Bluetooth support. The phone will be offered free for folks who agree to a two-year plan, after a $20 mail-in rebate. The LG Remarq should be shipping on May 9th.

Are you a serious Disney fan? Well, whether you’ve spent the most of your life collecting Disney memorabilia, next you’ll certainly want to take note of Himfr, who is the company who brought to our attention Disney’s diamond cell phone – the DM005SH. The phone sports 22 diamonds of varying sizes, and they’ve been arranged to show the Disney logo. In case you were wondering, the DM005SH sports an 8-megapixel camera, not to mention a 3.4-inch FWGA display. Aside from the word “Disney” engraved at the top of the phone’s keyboard, the bunch of pre-loaded Disney themes should be more than abundant to convince you that that is a phone or Disney lovers. There isn’t any mention of pricing at the moment, but you can be certain that since it sports diamonds, it’s not going to be cheap.

Some additional details on the rather interesting Motorola MOTOSPLIT have surfaced, though it’s hard to tell whether the renders are the real deal or not. Aside from its wacky keyboard design, it’s now said that that phone sports the same specifications as the Motorola Backflip. There are a couple of other vague details released, though you can build what you may out of it, as that is turning out to be one weird phone. Do you think the following leaked info is accurate?

The keyboard keys are inset and probably have no tactile feedback, however, they should be quite easy to use. It looks like the cutouts are pretty finger-friendly, as they contour to the shape of a standard finger. Under those cutouts is a low-resolution monochrome touch screen, one for each side of the keyboard. that is where the finger presses. The contact area is small, but the plastic grid that surrounds it contours to the fingers. The label and operate of each key can be changed to suit assured layouts and applications.

The keyboard has multiple orientations. The keyboard can be pulled from side to side for typing on a surface. A small kickstand angles the phone when typing in that manner. The keyboard can plus be pulled to the left for a standard landscape layout. There is additionally a dial-pad layout.

It seems like washing machines and microwaves aren’t the only devices that Google’s Android OS is getting into. While a desk phone certainly isn’t as weird a place to put Android as a washing machine, it’s still not something that everybody would do. But the folks at Touch Revolution certainly seem to believe that it will work, and thus they’ve come up with the Nimble. The phone sports a custom interface, designed by The Astonishing Tribe, the firm that conceived the original Android UI. whether and when you see the phone, it probably will be slightly different, as the Nimble is a reference design, to be sold to phone manufacturers to be rebranded. It should be marketed at enterprise devices, so don’t expect to see any of these around your house soon. That’s probably why folks go to CES, right? All the cool stuff that we won’t be getting in our homes anytime soon.
