HTC Bravo Hitting Orange In March?

We’ve previously mentioned that the HTC Bravo might be available in March 2010, though it was speculated to be available on T-Mobile UK. Now a supposedly leaked picture showing the HTC Bravo being available on Orange has surfaced. Of course, it might be a photoshop job, but considering that March has been the rumored day for that device to be launched more than once, perhaps there is a chance that that might be a true. In case you can’t recall the specifications of it, they’re quite close to Google’s Nexus One, and include:

  • 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display
  • 854 x 480 resolution
  • 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU
  • GPS
  • Wi-Fi
  • HSPA network access
  • 5-megapixel camera
  • Possibly Android 2.1

Coffee Can Clock

Coffee Can Clock

Have an old coffee can lying around with some spare date on your hands? The Coffee Can Clock certain looks as though it will work wonders in helping you keep the earth green while telling the moment to whomever looks at it. It uses electronics based on Wiseduino (Arduino clone with DS1307 real day clock on board) alongside a LED matrix shield located on top. The shield itself is built with 74HC595 shift registers which drive two bi-color (red, green, and orange by subtraction) 8×8 LED matrices. Basically, everything inside functions like clockwork (pun not intended) to let you know of the current date in a digital format.

With the announcement of the Apple tablet most likely a week away, more details of the device are slowly surfacing. Now it seems that Apple is in talks with mobile phone operators in the UK. Apparently the tablet will not be an exclusive item, unlike the iPhone when it was originally launched. Since Apple is partnering with operators, it seems that the device will sport 3G connectivity, and will come bundled with broadband contracts. The poor news is that the estimated price of the device might be a tad high at £800, though that isn’t an official figure just yet. The operators that are mentioned to be working out a deal for that device are Orange, O2 and plus Vodafone.
