The world of Lego can get pretty complicated at times, and here we have DIY-fanatic johnnyT23 displaying his Lego iPhone case and stand which is made out completely of Lego bricks, boasting side grips for your thumbs while offering the opportunity for your iPhone or iPod touch to get juiced up when docked. Heck, Johnny must be pretty short on cash (and enlarged on time) since he is putting up the iPhone version on eBay for $12.99 a pop, while a larger iPad version is currently in the works.

Despite Apple once again teaming up with AT&T for the iPad’s documents plan, Verizon doesn’t seem to be discouraged, particularly once you take a peek at the leaked memo to its staff that’s going around the Web. Bringing up points that AT&T’s network is “overloaded”, and that the 3G version of the iPad will cost more, the carrier is aiming to persuade users to get the Wi-Fi version of the iPad and pair it up with a device like MiFi. Of course, what the memo fails to mention is that Verizon MiFi costs you $60 a month, which is twice as much that AT&T charges for its unlimited iPad plan, so you’ll be paying more in the expanded run. What do you think? Are you planning to purchase an iPad with an AT&T 3G plan, or go along with Verizon’s suggestion?

Wal-Mart sees an opportunity in the online movie business and has extended their empire to include the purchase of Vudu, although the financial terms were not disclosed to the masses. Just in case you aren’t too familiar with what Vudu does, the company offers software built into TVs and Blu-ray players, enabling subscribers to rent or purchase high-definition movies and TV programs by the Net where they can watch instantly without waiting for a Blu-ray disc or DVD to reach in their mailbox. Currently, Vudu has licensed subject matter from most of the major studios with around 16,000 movies on offer, and ought to keep you occupied during your most bored moments. Will Wal-Mart be successful in that effort?

While all the news is about T-Mobile getting Google’s Nexus One phone, let’s not forget that Vodafone will additionally be getting the phone. A Vodafone spokeswoman has additionally confirmed that the carrier will be offering the phone in Europe, starting from the UK. Pricing and info haven’t been revealed by Vodafone just yet, but we certainly hope it will be fair. The spokeswoman from Vodafone has stated:

“I can confirm that Vodafone is the first operator to partner with Google to offer the Nexus One in Europe, starting soon in the UK, in a few short weeks. No detail on pricing and precise timing has yet been made, but that will come in a few weeks.”

On a side note, it seems that O2 has no plans to stock the Nexus One yet, so that might be a good opportunity for Vodafone.
