Opera just announced the launch of Opera Mini 5 for J2ME and Blackberry along with Opera Mobile 10. These are final releases as Opera Mini 5 was previously available as a beta. It includes features like Tabbed browsing, Speed dial and a bookmark synchronization system called Opera Link. On some platform, Opera Mini 5 is much more efficient than the default browser – particularly on Blackberry phones. I tried it with a Blackberry 9700 Bold and Opera Mini 5 trounces the default web browser. Opera Mini 5 is available for Java phones, Blackberry, Android and Windows Mobile.

Opera Mobile 10 beta 2 has received yet another update, pushing it ever closer to being the final version. Opera has released the highly anticipated Opera Mobile 10 browser for Android, but the poor news is that it has currently only been released to manufacturers and carriers.
