It is not strange to see a mild-mannered person turn into a monster behind the wheel, as there can be a lot of anger flowing through rush hour traffic. Well, perhaps whether road transport departments worldwide were to adopt the smiley traffic light notion, things could brighten up at busy intersections. After all, isn't the Web generation all about emoticons?

Folks living in South Korea will be able to check out the red wine-colored crystal chassis of the My Ripple Look Family 45FC mini PC. that small machine that could will definitely find a place in any living room, featuring the ability to deliver high-resolution videos and 3D games without lost a beat thanks to some decent hardware within such as Intel's latest Dual Core processor, 2GB RAM, a 2.5" 320GB hard drive and the Intel GMA X4500 graphic chipset. Supported video codecs include MPEG2/4, VC-5 and H.264. No notion on pricing though. Why can't we at the west get such cool HTPCs?

Onda VX550 portable media player

Onda has unveiled its latest VX550 portable media player which sports a display that is larger than what one would normally get, which is a 5" screen at 800 x 480 resolution. While it can't show 1080p videos in its full glory, the device can still output it by to a Full HD TV thanks to its HDMI port. You can plus hook up a USB device to that for quick file transfer and viewing. Supported video formats include RM/RMVB, MKV (H.264), AVI, MOV, FLV, MPG, VOB, DAT and TS. No notion on pricing or availability, although we suspect the former is going to cost a pretty penny.

Toshiba has plans for its own tablets

Toshiba is currently working on rolling out its own tablet range that will go up against the iPad from Apple, and the Japanese company hopes to see that line of devices to reach sometime later that year at best, or early 2011 otherwise. Toshiba isn't precisely new to the tablet scene since they rolled out the Journe Touch to folks living in Europe late last year. We still have no notion as to the type of operating system which Toshiba's new tablets will run on, but whether history is of any indicator, we are probably looking at a style of Windows to grace these tablets.

The mischlichtRGB looks like it would fit in well into any contemporary home, what with its RGB color scheme. It’s still a concept design, but whether and when it becomes a reality, surely you’d want one? The other fashionable lights around your home might feel a little envious, though. that design is the product of German and Swiss product designers Fabian Nehne and Martin Meier, who are currently working as a senior designer at Deutsche Telekom and senior designer lead at notion Munich respectively.
