March 20, 2010

Nokia's E72 business messaging phone is one sleek handset which is definitely fun and easy to use, but up till now it only came in business optimized colors of black, silver and topaz brown. Good thing that the folks at Nokia decided to jazz things up a bit by introducing a purple Nokia E72 that makes it look a whole lot more hip. Even nicer is that piece of hardware is not a special, limited edition unit, but you will be able to purchase it in the Lebanese market in due day, with hopes that it might even produce the cross by to the global market.

Nokia Design By Community Wants Your Phone Design
March 19, 2010
Do you think that Nokia phones aren’t as cool as they could be? Well, you might be able to have some say that instance, as Nokia has launched its Design by Community initiative, allowing users to create their ideal concept device. You’ll be able to tweak the screen size, screen type, keypad layout, buttons, and screen ratio. The weird thing is that there’s a meter that lets you know whether you’re creating a device that’s “too way out there” or “not ambitious enough”. whether Nokia is trying to get a fresh perspective on things, wouldn’t having a meter to nudge citizens in a assured direction be counterproductive?

While Nokia has introduced the X3 and X6 handsets recently, they are working on the X2, preparing it to hit the market in the nearby future. It seems that that handset will reach in the South East Asian market, where it will sport quad-band GSM support and Bluetooth connectivity. that ought to be a low-end handset, and that would squarely place it in the crosshairs of folks living in numerous emerging economies all through the region. Cheap as it might be, it will probably be a success as well.
