Check out that rather interesting video that sees holographic heads which can interact with the musicians. The heads will interact by giving the impression that they are on the turn wheels or getting hit by Will Clark himself. The entire performance is definitely from the future, and our ancestors would probably have run off claiming that a bunch of headless ghosts have made their permanent residence at the theater, only to have the resident priest called in for an exorcism session. Entertaining, but we’re not too certain whether the novelty factor can grant such a genre sufficient longevity among the audience.

Omega Music Technology’s new GM-1 system will definitely appeal to music video game fans who want something with more substance during their Rock Band or Band Hero sessions at home. You can choose a standalone version or have one bundled with a Pearl drum set, where the system will come with individual sensors that are capable of detecting each drum hit with “speed and accuracy”. Those who prefer the drum set package will be able to enjoy real drum heads. that could very well be the ideal method for those who want to learn how to play drums, as non-gamer musicians can play songs on it nearly immediately without lost a beat (pun not intended). The basic system will start from $249 upwards.
