Motorola somehow leaked out its i897 Amphora (seen on the right) and WX415 Heartland clamshell handsets, where the former is an iDEN model, featuring a Ferrari logo located right under the internal display which obviously suggests that it is another Ferrari-Motorola tie-up. It seems that Sprint will be the most likely candidate to offer the phone in the US, although there is no release moment attached to it just yet. As for the Motorola WX415 Heartland, that is a CDMA handset that will compose its way towards North and South America, featuring an external display and external music controls.

Motorola has just announced their new range of on-demand servers that were specially designed to deliver multimedia composition and services across TVs, PCs and mobile devices. All three screens are fundamental to service providers’ success when it comes to developing new revenue-generating applications and services particularly in the current era of Internet-enabled TVs. With the Motorola M3 Media Server family’s introduction, it aims to deliver solutions which connect folks to personalized composition simply by creating compelling consumer experiences. Well, with that in place, hopefully there won’t be a deluge of ads to assault our senses further – give us relevant composition, please!
As kid’s we’ve all tried to cheat the Rubiks’ cube by removing its stickers and sticking them back in the proper order, but that Android-powered LEGO robot doesn’t need to resort to such petty tricks, as its able to fully solve the Rubik’s cube in under 25 seconds. It was created by David Gilday, who has previously built a Rubik’s cube solver with LEGO bricks too. The main difference about that method is that it has an Android-powered Motorola Droid smartphone at the heart of it running a custom application. Check out a video of it putting humans to shame after the jump.

While the Motorola RAZR3 won’t be released (ever), it’s still interesting to see that some folks out there managed to score a prototype of that phone, though that one wasn’t found in a bar. The folks by at Boy Genius have posted a bunch of pictures, giving you a good notion of what that phone would be like whether it were actually to manufacture it into retail stores. whether you’re still intrigued, we’ve additionally got a video of that phone in action after the jump. Despite it not being a smartphone, it does offer some rather nifty features, such as:

Looks like Google isn’t the only company that likes to give its employees free Android-powered cell phones, as reports are in that Adobe is plus preparing to give its employees Android-powered cell phones. that is probably related to the upcoming release of Flash 10.1 for Android devices, as well as the recent disagreement with Apple by Flash on the iPhone/iPad. It wasn’t specifically mentioned whether all employees or just Adobe’s developers would be getting the Android devices, but considering that Adobe has about 8,600 employees worldwide, chances are that developers are going to be the lucky ones. What device would be given wasn’t specifically mentioned, but the common trend seems to be Google’s Nexus One and Motorola’s Droid.

Twitter junkies out there who are running an Android-powered phone should be overjoyed to assemble out that the social networking company has finally released its official Twitter application for Google’s Android OS. Amidst all that good news, there is some poor news, which is the fact that the application only works on Android 2.1, which means that based on what’s in the market, more or less only the Motorola Droid, Google Nexus One and the HTC Incredible will support it, leaving users who are running older versions of Android, such as Android 1.6, praying hard that an update is around the corner. Considering social networks try to get as much exposure as possible, it’s slightly strange to see the application only support Android 2.1, but let’s see how it works out in the towering run. Are you planning to install the Twitter application on your Android phone now?

If you were to tell someone 10 years ago that Apple would usurp Motorola as the top US phone maker, that person would probably have placed you in a straightjacket. Fast forward a decade and that seemingly impossible scenario has come true, with Apple recently overtaking Motorola as the top US phone maker, moving 8.8 million iPhones in the first quarter of 2010 with Motorola back in second place, behind by some 300,000 devices sold. What do you think of that meteoric rise of Cupertino – are they here to stay?

Now it seems that the strategy is going to be repeated by Verizon and HTC, as promotional campaigns have been going around and a promotional video (after the jump) has surfaced too, reminding us that the Droid Incredible is, well, incredible.
