Many Nexus One users are complaining on the T-Mobile and Google forums, claiming that the T-Mobile input coverage is totally down. Some users are stating that the SIM card downloads input fine when swapped to other phones, but others are claiming that it’s a T-Mobile network issue. T-Mobile and HTC tech support centers surely have quite a pickle on their hands. The frustrating issue is probably that nobody is entirely certain what the issue is, but hopefully T-Mobile and Google will get to the bottom of that as soon as possible. How has your details service been on your Nexus One or T-Mobile device by the last 1-2 days?

T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl and Curve users who are on T-Mobile’s network are in luck, as the company will be launching a Free BlackBerry Trackball Replacement program. It’s not too strange for a BlackBerry Pearl 8100/8120 or BlackBerry Curve 8320 to have a problematic trackball, which is probably why RIM has been using trackpads more often now. T-Mobile is now offering subscribers who own those phones and are having problems with the trackpad to visit the T-Mobile store, and have the trackball replaced. certain seems like great news for T-Mobile BlackBerry users.

It is a well known fact that the Nexus One has difficulty in hooking up to T-Mobile’s 3G network since the superphone’s release, and part of the problem was due to a software error in the Nexus One’s 3G radio. As for the other reason, that is T-Mobile’s fault as the wireless carrier has a much smaller 3G footprint compared to its rivals AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. Google is already working hand in hand with HTC engineers to roll out a software fix for the radio, wheer we keep our fingers crossed that their target of an over-the-air update ready by next week will be on instance. Bear in mind that that software fix won’t be able to change the pretty limited 3G coverage provided by T-Mobile, so you might want to think about picking up the Nexus One as a standalone handset. Want to know more on what we think about the Google Nexus One? Check out our review of that supposed superphone.

While T-Mobile’s network coverage is certainly smaller than competitors like AT&T, it’s good to see that at least there is progress being made to improve.

A video has arisen in YouTube showing the new 2.01 ROM version, Sense UI and the document tabs. Most importantly, you can see the “stick together” image at the beginning, which is a telltale sign that that phone will be available on T-Mobile USA. With the HTC HD2 and the rumored Google Nexus One scheduled for early 2010, it seems like T-Mobile USA certainly has a formidable lineup of devices.

No matter how fast goods transfer speeds go, it seems like we’ll never be satisfied (and rightly so). Now Ericsson has demonstrated its latest mobile broadband technology, HSPA Evolution, which will sport drool-worthy speeds of nearly 42Mbps. In a demonstration near Stockholm , a download speed of 41.5Mbps was achieved, which is a first on a chipset made from commercially available products. Of course, don’t expect to get such speeds in real world performance, since we’ll have to take into explanation congestion and other factors, but it’s still nice to know that we’re moving forward, right? that new “dual carrier” technology will require a software upgrade, but doubles the speed for users everywhere in the mobile network, allowing operators to deliver more info per base station.

Have you been disappointed that you weren’t able to get the HTC HD2? Well, it seems that Christmas might have come a little early for you (in the scheme of news, anyways). Word is that the HTC HD2 will be coming to the US, landing on T-Mobile’s network. While the cell phone scene has recently been dominated by Android-powered devices, the Windows Mobile HTC HD2 still packs a mean punch, what with its 4:3 capacitive touch screen and 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Do you think it’s suitable to challenge Apple’s iPhone 3GS and Motorola’s Droid? There certainly seems like a possibility. Word on the street is that you can expect the phone to be launched in March 2010, which is just a few short months away. There isn’t any word on pricing just yet, so stay tuned.

Now that Apple’s iPhone isn’t exclusive to O2 anymore in the UK, it seems that everybody is clamoring for a piece of the pie. Next up is the announcement that Tesco has confirmed that it will be offering the iPhone 3G and 3GS on its O2-powered Tesco Mobile network. Unfortunately, just considering the iPhone is being sold in Tesco, doesn’t mean that you’ll get it at the usual heavily discounted Tesco price. Bummer.
