Apple Looking To Improve iPhone Maps?

It seems like Apple is looking to give the iPhone’s built-in Maps application a boost, as a job listing posted by Apple is seeking an iPhone Software Engineer to join the iPhone and iPod Touch Maps team, and to take the app to the next level. With Google and Apple seeming to compete more and more on the mobile market, could Apple be looking to move away from Google Maps?

Dell Mini 3i For China Mobile

Dell has confirmed that its Dell Mini 3i Android-powered smartphone will be made available in China via China Mobile. The phone will debut with 2 color options, namely the “red passion” and “oiled bronze” color schemes. Aside from quad-band GSM/EDGE, 640 x 360 display, GPS, 3-megapixel camera, and Bluetooth, the phone will additionally support China Mobile’s “Mobile Market” app, though Dell says that the phone’s features may vary from operator to operator.
