You might have probably seen already one or two mock ups on how Apple has designed iPad by running by iPhone with an asphalt roller meaning that it’s just a giant iPhone so that you could have more apps. The only thing lost is that iPad doesn’t do calls. Apart from VoIP, of course. So, whether you want you to compose your iPad (or really any other gadget) look more authentic among its handset predecessors you can equip it with a fairly cheap Moshi Moshi 01H – a vintage-styled handset designed for wide variety of devices that has come out today with just $29.99 on the price tag. In stock, Moshi Moshi 01H is supplied with 3.5mm jack. USB and other types of adapters are sold separately. They say it has high quality speaker and microphone, contemporary, pleasant to use materials, but, well, it just looks good with an iPad. A black one though (also available) would be even better.

The Psyko 5.1 PC Gaming Headset System has finally made its way to the US, where it will offer full immersion 3D audio which more or less lets you precisely identify movements around you – fundamental whether you’re knee deep in First Person Shooters, but otherwise not so useful whether RTS and MMORPGs are more your cup of tea. Five speakers located around the headband will channel sound to the ear in a natural manner, accompanied by a subwoofer in each ear cup. The microphone itself is removable, while the open ended ear cups lets you build out conversation in the room. These won’t come cheap though at $299.99 per pair.

Orange Amps has just rolled out their OPC, a computer amplifier that looks like an amp from the outside, while its innards house various computer parts including 4GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive, an Intel processor as well as a 64-bit version of the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Granted, the color of the OPC isn’t going to match just about any living room, but it is highly versatile to say the least since its universal input jack is capable of accepting virtually all devices, ranging from a guitar or keyboard to an iPod or microphone. A cooling system helps keep everything running fine and dandy without fear and distress of overheating. Other specifications include an integrated GeForce 9300 video card, Wi-Fu support as well as the option to upgrade its graphical capability. No word on pricing just yet, but expect the OPC to hit the market that June.

Rude Gameware has rolled out a couple of new gaming peripherals known as the Primal PC Headset and mouse, where the headset itself was specially designed to handle expanded gaming sessions without having you feel worse for the wear. It is compatible with any device that has a 3.5 mm audio jack, alongside a battery pack adapter that keeps the feedback feature going. Apart from that, you get noise canceling technology, in-line volume control, and a detachable noise canceling microphone for crystal clear conversations with your team mates. As for the Fierce 3200 DPI laser gaming mouse. you get on-the-fly adjustable DPI, a high quality laser sensor, adjustable weights and USB connectivity. Expect either one to retail for $49.95 a pop which really isn’t all that expensive where gaming peripherals are concerned.

The Mertz active vision head robot is pretty creepy when you think about it, as it does remind us of I, Robot in many ways. The brainchild of Lijin Aryananda and Jeff Weber at the MIT Media Lab, Mertz was built to recognize and react to faces and expressions, aiming to research socially situated learning which is similar to an infant’s learning process. It is hoped that when placed around public and absorbing knowledge round the clock, it would be able to “learn” dynamically so to speak, recognize specific individuals and even repeat common words or phrases. Mertz is equipped with 13 degrees of freedom, individually actuated eyebrows and lips (hopefully he can pull the many faces of The Rock of WWE fame) and a microphone. Interesting project, don’t you thyink so?

The Ace Antenna A DR-200 car black box might be just the thing that parents won’t mind getting for their kids who have just received a driver’s license, since it will feature a camera that can be mounted onto the windshield, with one facing the road while the other facing the vehicle’s interior. Apart from that, the camera seems to be able to work even in low light conditions, and will come equipped with an integrated GPS receiver and a microphone. It will basically record everything you say and everywhere you go, while keeping an accurate track thanks to its GPS capability.

Hanwha has unveiled its very own UMAZONe K3 in-car video recorder that ought to help you settle any disputes when driving with a bunch of backseat drivers, as it has video proof of all the turns you made, while adding weight to your claims of spotting a camel cross the road. Meant to be mounted on the windscreen of your vehicle, the UMAZONe K3 can store up to 2 hours of video on a 2GB microSD memory card in MPEG4 (AVI) format with VGA resolution (640 x480) @20 fps. Features include a color CMOS sensor, an integrated G-sensor and a built-in microphone that has voice recording capability as well. Seems to be a Japan-only device, that, so you might want to check with your local import shops whether you’re itching for some recorded street action.

<img border="0" alt="Apple Files For A New Gaming Accessory Patent" src="http://gadgethobby.com/wp-content/plugins/blog/images/Apple-Gaming-Accessory-Patent.jpg” />

Looks like Apple intends to get a little more serious about gaming, as the fruity company has submitted a patent on a device that’s related to gaming. From the patent it’s known that the device can be used as an external gaming device and might have several accessories. Variations of said accessory might include a camera, vibration add-on, microphone, and an accelerometer. The design additionally shows an accessory that will give a portable touchscreen device some external gaming controls, much like those gamepad accessories that show up from day to day for your iPhone. It’ll be interesting to see whether Apple wants to take on lengthy date gaming giants such as Nintento and Sony in the gaming scene. Do you think Apple will want to come up with a committed gaming machine, or turn it’s iPhone/iPad into one?

Patent filing.

All of these headsets offer in-line remote controls, which will be a boon to the many iPod/iPhone users out there, since you’ll be able to access the commonly used functions easily, without having to pull out your music player. The built-in microphone additionally lets iPhone users chat hands-free. The headsets offer either 9mm or 13mm Neodymium drivers, and a choice of different colors, offering you good sound quality and the choice of colors.
