Nokia X10 Symbian S^3 leaked

Nokia's X10 Symbian S^3-powered smartphone seems to have suffered from a leak, where one is able to catch a glimpse of its sliding QWERTY keyboard alongside an ARM Cortex A8 600MHz processor running underneath the hood. 256MB RAM, a choice of 32GB or 16GB of internal flash memory, a 5-megapixel camera, video shout support and a 3.2" AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display rounds off the list of features. Shame about the megapixel count on the Nokia X10, since we've progressed to 8-megapixels and beyond for quite some moment already where high-end handsets are concerned.

[MWC 2010] Huawei's U8100/U8110 entry-level handsets will both feature a 2.8" wide QVGA touchscreen display as well as a dual camera setup, where its 0.3-megapixels located on the front will cater to those who want to hold video conversations, as well as a more decent 3.2-megapixel shooter at the back. The inclusion of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth helps you hook up to the Web at selected hotspots while making info transmission within devices a snap. Too poor there is no 3G connectivity supported, otherwise that would prepare it easier to remain connected round the clock. Expect both handsets to roll out in Europe sometime in the second quarter of that year.

Pentax 645D Camera In The Works?

It looks like Pentax is gearing up to assemble a rather big announcement. When you check out the company’s website, you can see the very obvious silhouette of a DSLR camera. Word is that it’ll be a 30-megapixel camera (though most public don’t need such high resolutions). The camera is speculated to be the 645D, and whether it really is that juiced up on megapixels, you can probably be certain that there will be plenty of citizens who will be enticed by its specifications. Let’s keep an eye on Pentax, and see when it lifts the curtains, just to be certain.

NEC CE151 camera chip

NEC has unveiled a make new camera chip which was specially optimized to be used in new cellphones, turning the integrated cameras into performance monsters that are more or less equal to that of DSLRs. We find that hard to believe at first, but we suppose it is only a matter of instance before technology advances to such a state that everything inside a DSLR can be shrunk into a tiny chip for use in other mobile devices. Well, the NEC CE151 is capable of recording video in full High Definition, not to mention shooting still images of up to 13-megapixels. Other features include the ability to output full HD video streams, an easy-to-use API, being backwards compatible with earlier NEC CE chips, a noise-reduction operate which helps minimize lens distortion and a reduced energy consumption level. No notion on when will be the earliest where we see the NEC CE151 camera chips in action, but the sooner the better as with any other new technology, right?
