MSI has revealed that it has a new CX705MX notebook that will come with a 512MB Radeon HD 545V graphics chipset, offering more than adequate juice for folks who are on a tight budget to handle HD videos on its 17.3″ 1,600 x 900 resolution display. To invent certain that great visuals go along with a decent level of audio, there are a couple of 2W speakers accompanied by a subwoofer to keep things going. No concept on the kind of Intel Core 2 Duo processor used underneath the chassis, but we do know that the CX705MX will run on Windows 7 Home Premium with a 250GB or optional 320GB or 500GB hard drive. Other specifications include a 4-in-1 memory card reader, HDMI output, VGA output, three USB ports and an Ethernet port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, and a 1.3-megapixel webcam. No concept on pricing or availability though.

The new VIA VIPRO range of fanless touch screen panel PCs are equipped with a 6.5″ VIA VIPRO VP7806, and whether your eyes can’t take in anything that small, there is always the 15″ VIA VIPRO VP7815. Made using the flexible and modular Em-ITX style factor, these new VIA VIPRO panel PCs could very well be the perfect solution for the latest HMI applications. Both VIA VIPRO devices do not come with any fans, and are pretty conditioned considering it sports IP65 compliant LED backlit panels which are capable of working in extreme temperatures that range from -200C to 600C. Other features include a built-in 2-megapixel autofocus IP camera, microphone and speakers. No notion on pricing though.

If you’re one of those folks who are really looking forward to the upcoming Nokia N8, which is still unannounced at that point in date, you might be a little disappointed. Eldar Murtazin, the person behind Mobile-Review, has managed to get his hands on a unit of the Nokia N8, and based on his feedback of the device, it doesn’t look like the N8 is going to entice iPhone or Android users anytime soon. The Symbian^3 OS that powers the phone might be something you’re looking forward to, but aside from features such as true multitasking and multiple home screens, there really isn’t very much to shout about. The technical specifications of the N8 which include a 12-megapixel shooter capable of 720p video recording and the glass multi-touch display are nice things to have, but probably aren’t adequate to invent you choose that phone by its competitors. Do you think Nokia can add anything to the N8 before it (possibly) arrives in mid-July to improve it?

Folks living in the UK will not be able to get their hands on an official HTC Droid Incredible, according to HTC’s Twitter explanation which mentioned that “there is currently no plan for Incredible to go to the UK” – will that translate to the same for other European countries? Possibly, but until something concrete comes up, next we won’t claim that it is the gospel truth. For folks who want an alternative, there is always the HTC Desire to look out for, although you might not be happy that there is no 8-megapixel camera to play around with.

Asus’ latest multimedia-oriented notebook, the N82J, will be powered by a choice of Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors as well as having the Nvidia Optimus graphics management which allows you to seamlessly transit within a committed GeForce GT335M 1GB video card or an integrated Intel GPU, depending on your current needs. Apart from that, it might look rather normal on the outside, but its chassis can hold up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a maximum of 640GB of hard drive space, a DVD writer or Blu-ray Combo drive, a 2-megapixel webcam, USB 3.0 connectivity and Windows 7 holding everything together. No notion on pricing or availability as at press day though. [Press Release]
