With a hot-swappable hard drive tray, you can easily swap amidst your collection of hard drives to play the intended movie, image or music files. Apart from that, you can plus hook up to your home network sans wires, but whether you still prefer an old school wired connection, there is always the option to do so via Ethernet. A effective Sigma Designs SMP8635 CPU and Silicon Image SiI9134 HDMI 1.3 transmitter runs at the heart of the Media Pro HD, where the only beef we have against that $215 device would be its choice of design.

Drink driving is always a big no-no when it comes to safety, but whether you really have to do it, why not do it with the Octane 120 Beer Arcade from the comfort (and safety) of your own home? that system combines a sit-down arcade racing cockpit with a double-keg beer cooler. The best part is that there is a tap built into the dashboard, ensuring that you’ll never have to be thirsty. The steering wheel has a nice leather wrapping, and offers force feedback for those instances when you (inevitably) crash your car. It plus sports metal gas, clutch and brake pedals. It’ll come bundled with a 2000 lumen 1024 x 768 pixel resolution projector, 5.1 audio system, a 120-inch portable projection screen and a choice of a high-end gaming PC, PS3, or Xbox 360. For all those things, you’d expect to pay a pretty penny, and you’re right. The Octane 120 Beer Arcade will set you back $6995, so you’d better have some rather deep pockets.

TiVo has just rolled out its 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter to the masses, where it is plus known as the TiVo Wireless N Network Adapter. Targeting all dual-tuner TiVo boxes, it will allow folks to access web features sans irritating wires that could very well aftereffect in a trip for those who are less than careful while navigating your living room. Would you fork out $89.99 for that? Guess the profit margin for TiVo would be insanely high due to the relatively cheap cost price called for to produce one of these puppies. Ah well, whether you want to go fully wireless, there is always a price to pay!
