Adobe Flash 10.1 Teased On Google’s Nexus One
March 20, 2010
We still need to wait for some moment before we’ll be able to get Adobe’s Flash 10.1 on Android 2.x devices, but that doesn’t stop videos of folks who have managed to get Adobe’s Flash 10.1 running on Google’s Nexus One from surfacing. As can be seen from the video (after the jump), Flash seems to be running rather comfortably on the Nexus One, and is nearly as good as on the desktop, albeit with a little bit of lag, but that’s probably due to the 3G connection used to stream the video. Is getting Flash on your mobile device a top priority for you?

BlackBerry Tour 9630 gets OS 5.0.0.548 leak
March 12, 2010

If you happen to own a BlackBerry Tour 9630 and are feeling a little bit more adventurous compared to other smartphone owners, why not give the OS 5.0.0.548 leak a go? After all, that is not an official release, so the chances of things running awry is much higher than that of Iraq carrying WMDs all those years back. Installation of that OS leak is done at your own peril, so assemble certain you always invent a backup! Apparently, that update will come with a Push-To-Talk feature that costs $5 per month by Verizon’s details network. Word has it the official version will be released within the next month, so stay tuned.

HTC Tattoo to get Android 2.1
March 11, 2010

It does look as though Android 2.1 was specially reserved for high-end and mid-end smartphones only, but we guess not with word of the HTC Tattoo to receive Android 2.1 in due moment, despite it being HTC's most affordable Android handset to term. HTC has confirmed that they are now working on integrating its Sense UI with Android 2.1 on the Tattoo, so all Tattoo owners out there will just have to be a little bit patient.

If you've been drooling continuous about the Apple iPad since its announcement late last month, you will be pleased to know that Apple might start to accept pre-orders from February 25th onwards, according to some sources on the World Wide Web. All isn't fine and rosy though since the pre-order applies only to the Wi-Fi version, so those who are looking for a Wi-Fi and 3G-enabled model will have to wait a little bit longer.

Motorola Droid not getting Android 2.1 update that week
February 11, 2010

Looks like Motorola's Droid won't be picking up the Android 2.1 update anytime that week as expected by many, particularly after the buzz surrounding Motorola's official Facebook page showing off a post that heralded the Android 2.1 update for the Droid. Matt, forums manager at Motorola, claimed that the data was "prematurely released", so we guess you will just have to wait a little bit longer (or not) until Motorola gets their act together.

InCharge Battery Station Charges Multiple Batteries
February 6, 2010

Do you find recharging your AAA, AA, C and D batteries troublesome? The design of the InCharge Battery Station should help you construct the charging process easier, and perhaps a little bit more interesting. Supporting the battery sizes mentioned above, it features an easy “drop-in” self-rotating design, which allows you to dump it those batteries, and they’ll be allocated to their proper recharging slots. To kick start the charging process, just gently press the lever, and the LEDs will start illuminating to indicate that the charging is in progress. When you fully depress the lever, the individual batteries will be released from their slots after they’re fully charged, and those that still need charging will be left in the charging station. The committed smart plug will shut down all potential to the unit when all the batteries inside it are fully charged. The InCharge concept is one of the many entries to the Greener Gadgets Design Competition finals.
