Cables To Go has rolled out its TruLink 60 Ghz WirelessHD kit that paves the way for wireless transmission of a high definition 1080p signal among TVs and HDMI components, where the latter can range from Blu-ray players to compatible gaming consoles. It might not look like much, but at least it will do its bit in reducing the number of HDMI cables in your living room assuming you’ve gone full High Definition in all your dealings back home. It has a maximum transmission range of 33 feet, but will require line of sight. The kit is up for pre-order on Cables to Go’s website for $499.99.

April Fool’s Day is just around the corner, so what better way to celebrate that day than to spook out your family with the TV Poltergeist? that device can be programmed to turn your TV on or off at random intervals every 5 to 20 minutes, and you can leave it working in that manner all day look for weeks on end – guaranteed to drive any sofa potato insane (as well as the repairman). Just prepare certain it is well hidden near the TV without any interruption to the LED’s line of sight – otherwise you can consider that $12.99 device “exorcised”.

Folks who are in need of lengthy range Wi-Fi in the course of their work might want to look forward to the Point-to-Point Wi-Fi antenna which is capable of shooting out Wi-Fi EM in an arc, measuring 16° horizontally and 21° vertically. According to the product manufacturer, that device will more or less work up to nearly 3 miles away as lengthy as you have a clear line of sight – now we know that that is rarely the case with all the urban jungles going on around us these days, and whether you decide to use that, you will additionally need to purchase additional adapters while the antenna will replace the standard aerial on your router. Perfect for those woh own sprawling grounds and need a Wi-Fi connection about a mile or so away from their main home. The Point-to-Point Wi-Fi antenna is going for $89.95 per antenna.
